Does anyone have experience in making Fonline work on a mac laptop?
I personally don't have any experience with wineskin, but maybe someone out there has had success in using it for Fonline?

Recently started playing this game. It's free to play and you can find it on Steam.
Just thought I'd post it here, as it has a skill based combat system and it's purely PvP.

General Game Discussion / Unethical ethics?

I'd just like to present the following situation that occured today:

I'm hunting for lockers and enter an encounter with a chest in it, kill everything and then end combat.
Next thing that happens is a caravan run drops into my encounter with a player.

Me, being generally unbiased in the meeting of new people say: "hi", where he responds with "hi".

Next thing I know, the guy runs down to the locker. I presume to know what he's up to and say: "nononono", but it's too late. Seconds later the locker is open and he loots it.
Within seconds, the caravan will leave the map, so I make a quick decision and kill the guy and his caravan.

I tell him it's because it was bad manners of him to do what he did, but he doesn't agree. He says I'm the one with bad manners...

Now tell me, what would you have done in my place?

General Game Discussion / Death by Poison

Fonline 2238 had the mechanic that you could die from "poison overdose" (by floaters for example).
What I don't mean here is instadeath when you're at grey HP (0 to -19) and the poison tick results in your death, regardless of damage.

What I do mean is actual death by poison while you're still walking about. You'd get so many seperate "you've been poisoned" moments that you just die from it regardless of how high your HP are.

1. Does this happen on Reloaded too?
2. Can it happen in TB?
3. Will it work with the poison from Needler Pistol?

I suppose you see what I'm getting at
I just love the sound of Needler Pistol so much, I must find a way to make them useful!

Bugs / [mechanics?] skinning animals and explosions

Hides are supposed to be destroyed by explosions if I'm correct.

Brahmin hides can't be looted when a brahmin is killed by a grenade or rocket, but gecko hides can.

Not a huge bug, but just thought I'd mention it.

Is there any way for me to change the color from red to something else?

Don't know if it's possible that I edit some file to make it blue or white for example.
