Bugs / Find William's Daughter - Bug

Hi All,

Is there any way to restart this quest? I was talking to the Trap Man when the bandit at the door come in and killed me and then Trap Man.

PS: The bug is the bandit killing trap man

I have Outdoorsman at 150%.

I follow this conversation with Mantis in NCR Train Station:

But no Explorer Perk and no map revealed
