I had some fight with XL on sniper crippler build and this wepon is VERY weak on him.
So I gues on normal character it is just perfectly balanced.

Actually best SG weapon is .223 pistol - not only very good but also bugged (it ignores DR more than should).

95% player use it in burst-mode, no sniping

Ok, but anyway minigun is still best burst weapon. So why u dont want to nerf it?
U play minigun build?

Damage and armor modifiers are handled by integers so the decimals don't mean anything. What you're probably missing is the bonuses of More Ranged Damage or Bonus Ranged Damage.

So the base damage is 30-40.
More Ranged Damage gives you 33-43.
2 DT gives you 31-41.
10% DR is applied and rounded down, you're at 27-36.
Fast shot adds 5, leaving you with 32-41.

You gave no information about any relevant perks or weapon mods that would affect the damage, so I'm gonna have to assume you took some ranged damage perks because otherwise something is awry. Either way, this is not a bug - only some confusion about the various hidden oddities in the combat script (understandably so).

I gave all needed info.

1. shoting character has no bonus dmg perks
2. attacked character has no defensive perks
3. pistol was found in cave - 0 bonuses

And still imo people are abusing this weapon because it is much better than stats says.

with fast shot max dmg is 45

I achieved this dmg on target without armor - it is ok.

Then I put CA MK2 (85%).
Now I have DT 6 and DR 40%

after penetrate + ammo mods:
10% DR
2 DT

lets calculate max dmg now:
(45-2)*0.9 = 38.7

and sample 4 hits:
41
37
39
36

I could believe that 39 is possible OK.
But 41?

Something is purely broken. Or I am missing some mechanic element.

This pistol ignore DR.

I tested it hitting target with no armor and then with combat armor MKII.

Difference in dmg was about 2-3 dmg.
So i purely ignore the 55% DR of CA MK2.

Bug or wrong wiki description of penetrate perk? (it claims it penetrate only DT)

Just bought new mine and resources seems to be pretty balanced now.

So mby it is encoded in specific mine when it is randomly generated. Because every day they gather the same percentage of those resources.

It would mean that you can get better or worse mine, and it is random.

Jak wbijesz 260% EW to możesz dorzucić JET i zjechac sobie sile na 1.
Mozesz tez grac z 1 sily od poczatku - z weapon handling i tak bedziesz mial full szanse trafienia nawet gatlingiem (jak wbijesz 300% EW)

Jak masz duzo czasu to mozesz odjac int do innej cechy (z biegiem czasu skille i tak nastukasz)

Na początky gry jedziesz buffout (żeby podnieść szanse na trafienie) zamiast nuka coli - ale expic i tak bedziesz laser pistolem wiec to nie problem.

Now I thik (yuo shud listen to me cas I know wot im talkin about) that it shudn't be the LSW that get a single shot. It shud be the avenger becas it already has the "ACCURACY" bonus. Plus is bes gun in game (yuo'd no this if u had 2 degrees in quantum mathematics like i do).

Avenger with single aimed shots is the only choice that makes sense because of LOGIC AND ROLEPLAY. Why else would the BoS use it so much?

The Avenger shuld also give AC because it is so big that it blocks a lot of bullets that stupid SG users spray at you (they are seriously so dump using those inferior weapons.

And btw I think this build could be 2 strong (aimed shots + very high chance for devastating burst +  crit based bazooka will be funny 2). [m60 + LSW in turn based it this case would be also awesome?].
Not 2 universal build?

It just looks a bit like "I want BG, lets boost it".
The proposal with moving LSW burst to 3 from 10 will make Big Gunners even easier and MUCH MUCH cheaper to farm - flamer will die.
