Here we go again, many people asked me about it, so it's time to publish up-to-date game source. It contains many bugfixes, changes and new features since the previous edition, so it's better to use this one. You can host it locally, modify it, test it, play it or whatever.

Source comes in two parts:

Part 1:
Contains Server files, Mapper and Tools.

Part 2:
Contains full client.

Note:
- This source is from 2nd Season. It contains all changes before and including this update (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?topic=9080.0).
- This is current version of what's running on Reloaded at the time of posting.
- All credits for what was already in FOnline 2238 source, go to Rotators of course.
- We provide no support for this because we don't have time for it. If you need help with modding FOnline, you should head to http://fodev.net and ask there. Other than that, you are on your own.

Thank you so much, I am very grateful for this early christmas present. :) I can't wait to get my hands on this one, I know I'm going to have a lot of fun with this release like I did with the 1st session source. :)

Nevermind, it's completely fine now. I just pasted the latest fonline downloaded i had into my client and now i'm able to do singleplayer now! Yay!!!!!

I cannot download these source files for some strange reason, it begins downloading and after like 16 Megabyte it just stops.

any suggestions ?

Edit: Problem has been solved on its own, after rebooting my computer it worked like a charm.

Is there a way to reduce encounter rates? I'm hosting a small server with my friends and for some reason we're getting bombarded with encounters at level 2, just trying to get to Junktown. It's worse than usual it seems.

But in Fallout Tactics there was a well documented glitch that would bomb you with encounters every 2 steps.

Strangely it was tied to having a high frame rate, and would be resolved by reducing said frame rate manually.  I doubt its the same deal here, but heh, that's all the info I have!

Better put some XP into Outdoors - I think that's most likely your problem.

I can imagine on an empty server you get much more encounters, as less players use up the monster pool, which I found some traces of at the LA dog hunting quest, where originally the dogs were removed from the world map when you got the quest with the random location nearby.

I remember Tactics. I only got massive amount of encounters whenver I wanted to explore the map a bit. As long as I was only moving to mission locations it was ok.

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to make a local server?
I don't know what to do with the two folders.

Edit.: Nevermind, got it working. But now some questions: Do I have to let the server window open everytime I play in my server? And is it possible to play with more people?

Considering the new season is based on stable REV412 SDK I'm interested too. Correct me if I'm wrong but other than TLA there are no open sourced projects available for this SDK.

I was told it was by putting the MODE_NO_LOOT in the critter_init () but I don't know the exact line I need to put in and the exact file that I need to put it in.

I never tried this, and can't now, but I would put it into main.fos at:

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

part somewhere, this is where critters are loaded into the map. Get a check for player if you want no loot on players, otherwise for mobs. Just add:

if (cr.IsPlayer())
    _CritSetMode(cr, MODE_NO_LOOT);

I am interested in source to...more to play, because i move to new house, and I will not have internet for PC soon. so I cannot play to find bugs, explore more new features to game. I play now season 2 in local and is preaty empty with content if i compare with season3.

It's 2nd session source so it's not updated to the 3rd session.
