Changelog 19/09/2015

Town Control changes:
- Militia enabled in all TC towns; cost: 750 caps per guard; will react to murderers and thieves if town laws are properly set; max. 8 guards per town;
- Weapon-carrying laws have no effect (militia will not shoot armed strangers with weapons equipped)

New Reno underground locker spawns:
- one of armors (regular Desert CA/Helmet, Brotherhood CA/Helmet, NCR CA/Helmet, Enclave CA/Helmet, buffed Tesla Armor/Helmet, Combat Armor/Helmet Combat Armor/Helmet Mk II, Metal Armor/Helmet Mk II),
- if no armor is spawned, then it spawns one buffed weapon (Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Gatling Laser, Super Sledge, Sniper Rifle, .223 Pistol, P90c, Pancor Jackhammer, LSW, M60, Avenger Minigun, Improved Flamethrower, Laser Rifle Ext. Cap., Wakizashi Blade, Grenade Launcher),
- 10% chance for some 2mm EC, 4.7mm Caseless, Shotgun Dragon's Breath Shells or Hypos,
- note: buffed means Advanced or Unique.

New Reno Commercial & Warehouse lockers spawn:
- same as above;
- in addition, there is 2% chance to spawn an implant or one of following items: Hardened Power Armor/Helmet, Power Armor/Helmet, Bridgekeeper's Robe, Turbo Plasma Rifle, Alien Blaster, Bozar, G11E, Gauss Pistol/Rifle, Vindicator Minigun

- Changed expected spawn rate in Warehouse/New Reno lockers from 30 minutes to 20 minutes
- Added few slags guarding locker at New Reno Commercial. Watch your step there - they are powerful enemies and will kill you on sight.

Other changes:
- Faction rank is now shown for all ranks.
- Some hex-throw and hex-shoot fixes.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed to join more followers than allowed in caravan runs.
- Mutants in Ares will now instantly attack sneaked characters when detected.

Further changes 17/10/2015
- Max. militia decreased to 6 guards,
- Militia cost is now 1000 per guard.

Further changes 6/12/2015
- Militia can no longer be bought, it only respawns after some time.

Further changes 17/12/2015
- Book of Achievement displays (USED) if it has been used by another player and assigned to his character,
- Book of Achievement displays info about remaining levels in description,
- Displaying item description in player/player trade window has been improved.

Further changes 31/12/2015
- Fixed a bug where hexshooting would ignore DR ammo mod - more details here (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?topic=9753.0).

Stats of NCR Police uniform were nerfed.

implants by npc - you must be crazy, mass amount of implants broke whole balance and made tanks like invincible, only reason for adding it was to give chance to other people which didnt had implants yet because they made too big gap since they was and still are still too overpowered but with their current rarity its not a big problem, at least not yet

ares - i wonder why some people which never finished ares since its last remake even speak about it, it spawns very high amount of rare ammo which is worth to do if your faction need some for using rare guns but ye rest of loot is .. not bad but not worth the effort which is required to do it

Lone players still have SE farming.

But I agree about ares, it's the hardest spot to get into the rewards should reflect that.

Making Ares even in terms of loot? Yes that is completely fair and makes sense +1.
Adding an NPC that sells implants? No, not this wipe. Perhaps in the future wipe once TC gets fixed. I'd rather not see factions that constantly farm towns make an entire team of fully implanted super soldiers because they have infinite money at this point.

Good and Bad point. Ares can spawn caseless ammo, gauss ammo and such, but beside that, loot is at most mediocre for effort it takes. Gauss ammo, for example, can still be found (in not bad amount) in Glow, it spawns ~3 lockers in one clearing, and this PvE can be done alone.

Making Ares even in terms of loot? Yes that is completely fair and makes sense +1.

Implants, implants, implant... jesus this word echoes in my head every time I see a post about it. Seki says the truth.

Now let's do some simple math.
There are 2 boxes that spawn rare stuff with 2% chance per spawn which happens each 20 minutes on average.
This means that there are 2.88 rare spawns per each 24 hours.
Boxes spawn various rare stuff and there is 58% chance that some random implant module will be spawned.

So all in all, there are 1.68 implants spawned every 24 hours on average.
If this means lots of implants for you and you start talking about adding an option to buy those from NPC, then I'm like what the fuck.

Boxes spawn buffed tier 3 armors and weapons (buffed Gatling Laser as well), they spawn various types of Combat Armors too, and sometimes rare ammo or hypos.
There is also a low chance to get rare stuff like Power Armors, Bozars or implants. But it would take a while to get the server spammed with those.
Boxes are guarded so you can't just enter with bluesuit or sneaker, take it and get out (unless someone else will kill enemies for you).

It's exactly what you asked for in over 9000 threads about New Reno lockers and other FOnline: Locker edition loot.

Not me for sure, wanted only some higher tier items in reno sewers, because little jesus was highest available item there. So noone even bothered going there. Now history makes a circle, but we have added guards woohoo.

And putting them in Reno Lockers, and farming other Dungeons is better when they get an implant each day? 2% for a repeatable locker is high.

Lone players always would lose out, and making implants more common still wouldn't change that. But faction leaders will be enjoying the benefits. The idea is that people with 1M caps can already buy most implants and stuff. So if we make the in game cost 20x more people with 20x the amount needed to buy the items can now do so if the supply runs out. It'll also increase player activity because they're guaranteed the ability to get them.

Some. I always said something like this but im not complaining because at least pvp is here again.
Personally I think the chance should be greatly reduced to like 0.005%, with the main purpose of the places to attract people. 2% is really dam high for something repeatable each 20 minutes.

Ahh you people still don't get it :)

You are always about: Noo the factions get stronger which and can give their members more and more. An infinite circle of bla bla. -1 AP nooooo unbalanced. imba. bla bla

Mini adjustments but no big changes. First all want reno to be gone because of newbies can get good stuff. Than after Reno was gone all say only the big once get all the money and stuff.. *sighs* Now it's back again...

Get 20-30 people at a time with normal CA + unbuffed guns but knowledge to the game and you still can beat all factions here in TC (most of the times).

The problem is the game is boring in the long run and has no new stuff. Look what big mmorpgs do to maintain and entertain their userbase. If it would get constantly new players and could keep them, the game would be fun. So as it is now it will always stick around with a core base and a few new peeps. That's it. Fun for those who like it boring for the rest of the world :)

Guess what. The next 10 wipes it will stay the same. I liked the game but it gets boring in the long run. It just lacks new features, goals, quests, dungeons, bosses where random guys join up. Group leveling is not needed here. etc...

Making Tier 4 available in Whorehouse & New Reno makes swarms intensify once again and making already fat-rich factions even richer. I can say same for my own guys farming stuff when nobody is online is main source of money income nowdays since the update. That's economy gamebreaker.

The problem is the game is boring in the long run and has no new stuff. Look what big mmorpgs do to maintain and entertain their userbase. If it would get constantly new players and could keep them, the game would be fun. So as it is now it will always stick around with a core base and a few new peeps. That's it. Fun for those who like it boring for the rest of the world :)

Guess what. The next 10 wipes it will stay the same. I liked the game but it gets boring in the long run. It just lacks new features, goals, quests, dungeons, bosses where random guys join up. Group leveling is not needed here. etc...

Its not due to lack of ideas...its due to the fact people dont want to make it happen. Just talk about it and hope to get this minor tweak in so the game is bearable to them.

Not bad idea, just make it in TB too. I don't think kicking boss ass in sniper char while fighting in RT is good idea.

Quests that have rare items would be cool too, or just cave rare/locker rares. But Snipers are designed to cripple against a boss crippling and Hexing are the way to go.

This is good. Gives plenty of time for us to come down from the Fallout 4 high and start wanting to play Fonline again.
Why the 23'd though? Personally I'd like to have a series of Christmas events to use up all the stuff we've accumulated, and then a wipe, with prizes from the events being given then. It'd be a fun way to start off the new era.

Even if you have to spend time with family and cant play 24/7 the game will still be there when you can.

I just want release date to be whatever is best for server, so whenever it would be best to have it according to this advertising idea docan apparently has. As excited as I am for new features, I would love to see a bunch more people playing even more. I hope this advertising idea is revealed soon. If its possible for players to help with it I'm sure many would do what they can. I know I will go make some posts on other sites I frequent to get the word out.

Yeah there was a bug if you take drugs before going into a TB encounter, if you stay in the encounter for a while, then end it you will have like 3x the original drug time. I once had 1 hour 27 minutes if all my drugs.

But alas, it's fixed.

All speculation, trashtalk and trolling about "wipe that is sooooon" only results in some new players resigning from playing, because they are afraid that their hard-earned progress will be lost. Guys you should also check out Mantis' other videos! He has some amazing tutorials for new players, and some entertaining videos for not so new players.
