Title: FCP - FOnline Character Planner
Post by: Opera on September 14, 2013, 04:56:41 pm
What's this?
- Character creation / leveling up simulator which makes it easier to plan characters.
- Built-in calculator for calculating critical chances and hit chances.
- Quests view contains all perks you gain via dialogs etc. (support perks, implants)
- Drugs view allows you to see effects of different drug combinations.

Notes
- Max level is set to 24. (You guys can say should you be able to max all the skills in the planner.)
- There's probably handful of bugs since this is the first Reloaded version.

Try it
http://www.nitue.net/#fcp/index

What's next?
I try to keep it up-to-date as quickly as I can and as accurate as I can. You can help me by reporting bugs and miscalculations. Suggestions are also welcome.

Other planners
If you don't like the idea of doing this in the browser, there's another planner (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?topic=6.0) by mojuk (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?action=profile;u=7).

Lack of books, you can add them as support perk or something.

That's true. But Reloaded is built from the remains of 2238, so most of the things related to character creation seems to be almost same as in 2238. I went through all the change logs and initial change log on News and Announcements (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?board=2.0) and made all the needed changes. Of course it is possible that I have totally missed something and that's where I need the help of the community to keep it as accurate as possible. :)

You don't need anymore charisma 3 to take +15% small guns from gunrunners.

Hey, would be great if you could lift the lvl 24 cap. I'd like to be able to check how much sp I'll have available at certain levels.

Thanks!

You can't go over 10 SPECIAL with Bruiser or Small Frame traits.

Edit: SPECIAL don't go over 10, just stats from traits show up on FCP.

Thanks for the reports and sorry for the "delay".

Made an update, but I'm not sure if the Special thingy works correctly now with Bruiser/Small Frame/Bonehead. Now it won't let you continue if the trait cannot be switched off (this means that, if you switched the trait off, your special would be more than 10 or less than 1).

shit , sorry , stonewall ofc isnt support perk, i just meant Strong back, my bad...

 Special seems working good now

setting cap (40) is way better than 24, but since there is no cap in game, it would be nice to remove cap at all, maybe just add information of total XP for level...

Ah, no wonder that seemed pretty strange support perk. Strong Back and Pack Rat have been obtainable from the quests view all the time. At least they should be there.

I will keep it at the 40 for now. Having no cap would require a bit of work to the system itself, but it's doable. Will look into that later.

Fixes to do :

1. HP is being gained only till 24

2.HP gain is provided also by odd EN number, (odd EN gains 1hp on even levels)

Quote
Killgore:- Odd values of Endurance give additional +1 HP each 2 levels, starting from 2nd level (additional +12 HP),

Thanks guys.

I just removed the level cap completely. There's a notification about it and perks and hit points when moving to level 2.

Carry Weight should be OK, but Pack Rat seems to be broken. I will be checking weapon damages later.

e. Checked the weapon damages etc right away too. Some weapon are missing from the calculator though.

Howdy !

Awesome tool of course. I just noticed Hit the Gaps's description isn't correct : "Increased Hit the Gaps effect from -25% to -50% of target's armor's critical modifiers".

The quest support perk from gun runners guard only allows for SG in the planner yet allows for either SG, BG, EW, or CC in game. I'd like to use the planner to map out a character other than SG but it would be very inacurate. It would be great if that could be changed to allow us to make EW, BG, or CC planning more accurate

This planner is slightly outdated for a long time already. I recommend using mojuk's one, its far better anyways.
