Changelog 24/12/2013

A tiny update, nothing special this time:
- VTDB enabled and links updated. Check character screen -> Online. More info soon. An example (click):

Now you can share your epic 666th level characters :P

- When flare is used inside an encounter, it will make this encounter visible to all players on worldmap. Beware of obvious traps!
- Gathering Electronic Parts should be fine now.
- Hub is the default starting location for all new characters.
- It will be raining in few locations for testing purposes. If it doesn't cause problems like massive FPS drop, it will be more common and dynamic, later in other locations.
- Mantis (ghoul giving Explorer perk) does no longer require INT higher than 3 to talk.
- A lot of new faction names added (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?topic=45.msg24010#msg24010).
- Some typos and descriptions fixed.

Snow mod (by Skejwen)
Changes rain into snow. (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3881929/asdasdasaaaaaaaaa.png) To use it, unpack contents of .zip below into Client/data/art/misc directory (create if necessary).

To revert it, just delete what you've unpacked there.

More changes, features and bugfixes are WIP, so there is another update coming in few days or weeks.

Thanks for the update.

Except for the HUB starting part, which i don't like at all.

Nice update!

One city being starting point is a very good idea.. noobs should stick together in one place to help each other out, etc.

One question: if flare is used, how long, or until when is the map visible to others? (until the player with flare dies, or leaves? )

Until the encounter is closed (all players leave). What's done with lit flare is not important.

When flare is used in tent would this tent be visible for everyone?

Also if already used flare is laying on the ground as decoration - will it also give away the location of the tent?

You didn't mention car prices being corrected in these patch notes, nor did you mention that centaurs and floaters fighting near mariposa would be less common if occuring at all anymore. Both changed the day the server was patched. Corvega prices went from 5000 to 130000 and the encounters near Mariposa are about 1 every 5 minutes on a guy with 7 perception, whereas before I was getting an encounter twice a minute.

Encounters weren't touched.
Car prices are reset when server is restarted. Fix will come later.

Seriously, all changes I make are always in changelog and I've already repeated it 1000 times.
