Alright, so I recently just found out about the missing son quest and decided to do it for the free armor.
Only problem is, I wasn't reading the dialogues and ended up insulting Iguana Pete. Now, he doesn't even want to talk to my character. Is there any way to fix this?

Reroll or make a new character sadly. If you fail to complete a quest you've gotta do it on another character. By the way it's not worth to make this quest =).

I'm only doing this quest for the small possibility that I may get a combat armor :P
Why exactly is it not worth it?

As for being worth it:
If you combine it with doing other things, it can be just a side trip.
If you mess up dialog, I think it is over.
Try again with Mentat and beer?

Impossible once failed its over. Message me I can craft you few combat armors for free or let you loot my mutants hideout quest where u have a lot of regular gear as well as chance to loot unique or advanced items.

I can teach you how to farm massive numbers of full sets Combat Armors, Combat Armors mk II, Laser Rifles, Miniguns and Avengers, LSW, M60 etc. With tons of Micro Fusion Cells, 5mm AP, .223 and 7,62mm ammo.
