hmm, interesting. must be a pretty harsh job for devs to make such mod with the Gamebyro Engine. see, the old Fallout games' engine wasn't capable of a multiplayer Fallout, so the devs had to make a new one outta scratch. we've seen some multiplayer mods for F:NV back at the days and those were totally awful, failed and forgotten, but this one looks pretty promising. no need to get hopes too high, but if the team can do a good job with all the syncing stuff and such it can be fucking amazing. we'll see.

wait a minute. what if Kilgore's the leader of this project and he had to keep us waiting for this all along? :OO

FNV wasn't designed for MP. They'll hit so many bugs and retarded engine problems that it won't catch on/work the way they want it to. I'd give up lol... project won't go anywhere, but it's a NICE try.

Fallout 1&2 wasn't designed for multiplayer either. and yet even though i too believe that they'll stumble upon lots of problems with Gamebyro, since there are a few multiplayer games powered with Gamebyro Engine i don't think it's a lost cause tbh

I'd play it.

Kinda looking forward to whether this project will get off the ground, or if it will suffer the same fate as previous attempts by others. I guess we will see.

FOnline is its own engine. We made Fallout 1/2 into a multiplayer game from scratch. These guys? Well, they've taken someone else's game and are trying to add multiplayer themselves. Fail alert. But wake me up when and if its running and I will totally kill your player :)

You don't need to keep looking this thread, but you must see that it is getting new updates everytime. They have implemented pvp these days.

I doubt it will ever be better than fonline, its not a mmo, but would be nice to play new vegas quests with a friend.

Lol the entire NV-MP has doubled over in fear, and there was a "unite" thread against khans in less than 24 hours, which has now turned into a rainbow alliance of 14 yr olds.

The forum PVP has been epic in scale.  These were soft handed, soft hearted, fan boy types, totally unprepared or familiar with The Khan beast. It's been a forum massacre, with all kinds of juicy stories and one liners.

The Stockholm syndrome is now starting the settle in, and the forum cries of "invasion" have been heard all week. Even the leader of ceasars legion explained how he would hide from The Khans on our first day there. Lol.

These people are hopelessly weak and ill equipped.  They are some of the worst of what the fallout community has to offer.  So Khans welcome all of the gut wrenched, wasteland hardened Fonliners to join us there.  We welcome all of you to stand with your brothers from this community and unleash absolutely hell into the enemy.

Fonliners must rise together and the weak must be destroyed. It is our destiny!

I wandered over there and took a look at the forum.

I'm amazed, they're actually trying to force fit you into their own preconceptions.

They're... in trouble.

lol

Behold the Mongol hordes as they descend on some other game's forum, a veritable swarm of angst-ridden thirteen year olds and forty year old neckbeards. Does the wasteland tremble? No. The wasteland cares not for those who cannot comprehend the very basics of civilization. Many tribes have tried and crumbled against the law-bringing front of the NCR. Khans are no different. Mass, unmarked graves will be the only evidence that they even entered the land... but there will be nothing permanent. As the sand dunes move, as the dust swirls and resettles, life among the civilized will go on for generations. It will be marked by times of war and times of peace.

Life. Life never changes.

On a lighter note, I do have an NV:MP key, will be shooting a video in the next few days on my new laptop.

Garg is proud of his boys having dysentery. He might want to see a doctor.
