I'm loving that I don't lose all my stuff when I die. This lets me go out and do fun things without worrying. I just worry that there may not be enough pvp death penalty to incentivize giving up when you know you have lost. I'm not to that part of pvp yet though.

It,s impossible to get sharpshooter on lv 12, you will not have enough sp for ew>150 to get it :)
You can do small guns initially fix that

I don't think towns care if you are armed anymore. Junk towns south guards will say something but they don't really care (from what I've seen)

Damn you, I was thinking about it all night. Finally I've got it.
In RT better movement speed, in TB it would lower ammount of AP unspended or spended on movement to make your AC work. Now you need half of AP, with low armor you would spend less to AC working...
If you need half ap per move then you could move 1 hex without using any AP. I guess that wouldn't be too OP? I don't turn base at all so...

One of the biggest weaknesses of mutants in tactics was they didn't have any decent armor. They couldn't wear power armor or combat armor. Just some crappy mutant armor. The reasoning is simply that it doesn't fit

Ghouls had crappy armor too, but not as bad. (They still can't wear normal armor)

Deathclaws could not wear armor (I think)

Guns were handled the same for all races except I forget if ghouls couldn't use big guns (I need to go back and check)

Death claws couldn't use weapons.

There were also unique perks for the races

Well there are intelligent deathclaws. Not sure how you'd want to skin their appearance, but I don't see why it would be so weird after using them in fo2 and tactics

Well then shouldn't AGI affect your run speed too then? And partial encumbrance? And what about turn based? If they want to incorporate variable run speed there other things that would likely impact it too... Sounds not worth it to me

Sorry if this has been suggested before, but with the newish skins available it has made me think of hacking fallout tactics to be able to play as a deathclaw. You could do any race that had recruits by moving them into the prefab character positions, starting a new game, and modifying the prefab character.

One of the things about being these races is they had different caps on SPECIAL.
Like deathclaws could get up to 12 strength and endurance and some other stats were capped lower.  Mutants and ghouls couldn't wear normal armor.

I don't think this matches up with the deathclaw companion from fallout 2 though. It's been a while.

I don't think rolling a melee character with the deathclaw skin would get me very far and I want to do it! Must... RP.... :)

I'll agree that the rocket launcher is a bit weak. Especially since the launcher and ammo are so heavy. If you just want knock downs you might as well use a grenade launcher.

I really don't think changing run speed is the answer to any armor variation. Especially PA... It's powered. If anything it would make you faster!

TECHNICALLY it would be better security if your username for authentication was not the same as your display name. So +1 for that
