Encounters in RT while default combat mode TB

As in the topic both FOConfig.exe and in game ~configmode tb results encounters in RT.

Yeah, just wrongly typed it but it's ~combatmode tb. Doesn't matter. I had it switched to TB and I've encountered players (just player no mobs) in RT. I had no option to choose by the way due to low Outdoorsman.

Same thing happens when you have RL time only. You still can encounter players, who use different mode than you, so you have to play by their rules on THEIR encounter.

Never heard of it, I found out yesterday. Guy with 70HP and LSW killed me (248HP/70%res) using two bursts. I thought it was TB, so after 2 bursts usually my turn but when he shoot last time I realised that it was RT....

By the other hand LSW i OW as fuck right now, everybody runs with LSW. The game is not diversed and is not balanced. If there is such a short list of weapons like in this game, DMG should be dependent of %skill.

I have absolutely no fun playing this game lately so I will give-away my alts to somebody or delete them.

My Hinkley experience tells me that he couldn't have killed you in 2 burst with lsw if you had 70% DRES, not saying you're lying, it just doesn't seem probable to me. Was it 1hex?

Yeah, you could also try to 1 hex with sniper rifle.

You dont have such HP/DMG resistance or he critically hit you. List of some weapons you can use in PvP: Grenade Launcher, dynacord stick, avenger, lsw, sniper rifle, .223 pistol, rocket launcher, XL, gatling laser, etc. Each weapons has its own role.

If there is such a short list of weapons like in this game, DMG should be dependent of %skill.

Then, people would have 300% Skill, nothing would change.

Can Killgore confirm that this is meant to be like that? I have also expected that I will not encounter RT encounters (players), but opposite happens twice. I have TB mode set, so I would expect only TB encounters.

I don't know if it's deeply hardcoded or not, but since always in any FOnline engine based game you will encounter Both modes (basically RT) and TB if you have the TB mode set.
