Rocket Launcher / Hex shoting

Bonuses from living anatomy and fast shot does not aply when doing hex shooting.

Here is damage from hex shooting with rocket launcher:
• armor king was hit for 45 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 55 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 50 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 39 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 39 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 42 hit points by you.

Here are targeted shots with rocket launcher
• armor king was hit for 65 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 62 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 64 hit points by you.
• armor king was hit for 64 hit points by you.

Character have fast shot and living anatomy.

Rocket launcher is too weak at the moment and need some kind of buff. I think adding damage bonuses to hex shooting will make rocket launcher useful again.

I agree hex shooting is weaker than targeted rockets 1+

Maybe give explosive rockets a 6 hex radius splash damage while keeping AP rockets at 3.

Also yes, Rocket launcher can use some damage buff or maybe even range. +1

Rockets are a tactical tool. They lack damage, but make up for that by knocking their enemies down. This way you can prevent an enemy from running to cover and firing back, allowing your buddies to shred him to pieces.

For the above reason, rocket launchers do not need a buff of any kind.
However, hexshooting doing less damage is probably better off in the bugs section.

dmg maybe but deff not range.

It is area damage (with the potential of hitting what 5-8 people?), and without stonewall its almost a guaranteed knock down/back.

The rocket launcher should have better damage and more range than the grenade launcher, but it's already very useful.

As for the fast shot damage, if it applies to non hex fired shots, it should definitely apply to hex fired shots.

What armor was that damage against by the way?

I'll agree that the rocket launcher is a bit weak. Especially since the launcher and ammo are so heavy. If you just want knock downs you might as well use a grenade launcher.

in addition to fixing this bug i have to agree with state of RL, its very weak since its damage was nerfed back early in s1 and then also stonewall has added this knockback protection
id rather suggest small dmg buff and small nerf to stonewall's chance to avoid KD which is still too high
what about..
dmg 64-85 -> 70-90 (+6 min/+5 max)
stonewall's chance to avoid knockback from RL 40/50/60/70/80 -> 35/45/55/65/75 (only -5% at each)
stonewall was good perk even before this addition, 3/4 to avoid at 10 ST and 2/3 at 9 ST is still enough.. its bullshit atm since every good tank picking stonewall, snipers are out of range you can sometimes hit burster but usually keep shooting rockets to stonewall tanks for 40 dmg without knockback -.-

If you just want knock downs you might as well use a grenade launcher.
those 2 cant be compared, GL has 25 range but more constant knockdown

43-45 range is more then enough for RL, lets not make it sniper weapon :D

Yeah more range for RL is a big -1 from me, its near enough to a sniper as is.

I'll state it again, it's area damage so; multiple targets, hitting around corners etc, so the weapon itself does good (potential) damage for what it is doing on top of the crowd control effect.

I agree with seki that stonewall shouldn't be so damn extremely effective, but I could say the same about a few things (tesla helmet cough).

This thread is about adding damage from BRDs / fast shot / living anatomy to hex shooting. As i said i think this will be enough of a damage boost to make RL useful again.

What armor was that damage against by the way?

CA Mk II and adrenaline rush starting from 100% hp to 0.

Yeah with the extra 10 from fast shot it would round off the damage nicely (assuming that fast shot is a popular choice). 65ish in an area on CAmk2 isn't terrible, its just less that people are used to with gatling and mini sprays.

Why won't hex shots crit though? Can you only crit the target you shoot at or something (making critting multiple people with a rocket impossible)? Or is it just a hex firing bug/feature?
