please think about upgraded version of flamer, to brink them to pvp. you know how they work in tla mk2 and it would be good to see them here.

higher range, bigger damage, -1ap for burst.
this could make new variation for bg with 2x pyromaniac to deal 120-130 damage vs ca mk2 with fuel mk2

Yeah im all for this one. Mk3 flamers are neat in TLA, but they never were for pvp because of other weaponry. But here in reloaded they would make a nice pvp weapon. Im all for variation in pvp.

Well I don't know how they work on TLAmk2.

Better version of improved flamer... if you ask me the mk3 flamer is unnecessary. This suggestion is more about buffing flamethrowers rather than adding something new.

The current mk3 flamer on TLA actually does less damage than the improved flamer in Reloaded:





However it has less AP to use and has the penetrate perk.
I think for starters, you could give the mk3 the same or slightly more damage than the improved flamer.
But it would have the penetrate perk and 1 ap less to use. I think it would be a nice start, if it proves to be too weak you can always buff the damage.

What about stats of flamer ammo?

And if i remember correctly Penetrate worked different on tla (something like -20 dr )

TLA flamer ammo is stronger than in reloaded: (its -15 AC and -10 DR, keep in mind that AC has a different function in TLA)

15% DR reduction is likely better than the DT/3 reduction in reloaded.
So you are right about the penetrate perk, the flamer mk3 should probably do more damage than the improved flamer (120-140) for example.

Disclaimer: I take all this info from the Reloaded Wiki. And as we know, the wiki has plenty of mistakes. So dont blame me.

But like you see flamer ammo have even 3/2 mod. What is a lot in that way. and with perk its -25% DR

We can't make same dmg because TLA max hp is around 800 and here is around 300, take that in consideration.

I don't think we need another version of it (2 upgrades uhh ?) Maybe as craft from 0 but i think better is to slight buff flamer mk2 (maybe add that -ap) and ammo mk2 (3/2 mod?).

You can do flamer tanks with high luck and high end sacrificing perception and using psycho, then you can do 120~~ dmg twice on 8 hexes, I think it's quite cool, when you can also make a critical strike.

Why would an improved mk3 flamer have less range than the previous one?
Also, why no recipe? Did it come down from space that it's impossible to craft it? Everything else is craft-able (not counting very special weapons of course)
