In the waning hours of 2238, a madman by the name of Andy REDDSON tried to raise an army. He wanted to “destroy all that is evil” meaning he wanted to burn Vault City, Navarro, 3 of the New Reno Families, and the raiders to the ground.
It didn’t work out so good- Andy and his crew took the raiders down, managed
to blow up one of the laser turrets in Vault City, and actually DID manage to kill everyone in Salvatore’s Bar, but sadly that’s about it.
Andy is still our spiritual leader (I know him from my days in the Guard); He founded the Church Of The Empty Clips, a philosophy of “Peace Through Superior Firepower.”
He gave us Seven Rules:
1. Never strike first; Always strike back.
2. Never warn someone before you hit them; Do it or don’t, but don’t tell them it’s coming.
3. Never say or do anything while drunk or in anger.
4. The world is not always fair; That doesn’t mean you have to add to the trouble.
5. Never be the cause of your chaos; End the chaos in yourself, and much of the chaos around you will disappear as well.
6. If you’re gonna do something stupid, do it in a smart manner; If you’re gonna jaywalk, make sure traffic has cleared and then get your ass across like you’re being chased by gangbangers.
7. The other guy is always an idiot. Plan for him to do the stupidest thing he can so you can react.
TTM® is an NPK faction (
“Never first, always back”), mostly oriented around solo crafters. Our bases aren’t actually for “bases” in the usual sense, but as trading posts for members of TTM®. However, each is kept kitted with regionally appropriate tools. Members are strongly encouraged to build a tent near our bases for actually storing their stuff. (Members are responsible for any tools taken from bases- You break it you buy it, buddy.)
Membership dues: A one-time payment of 10,000¤ and 300 junk. (Payment NOT required up front- that’s a LOT of junk to bring in, it will take time and we accept and appreciate that.) We do, however, require forum membership for continuous messaging.
What we offer in return: We will lead you around by the nose if necessary to get you started- crafting, farming/collecting, etc. training, assistance in getting special tools, etc.
We DON’T have an established radio channel. If two members of TTM® choose to use a radio to communicate, so be it, but that will be up to them.
We also are interested in any trading partners, so if you are authorized to speak on behalf of a faction, message me (please include “Trading Partners” and faction name in the message title).
Ten Thousand Maniacs® now has a permanent
