Problem Selling Things To Traders

So I can sell the things I make to the trader in junktown just fine. But when I go to other towns I'm hard pressed to find any dealer who will give anything above 0 caps for anything I'm selling. I have asked people in-game and they don't know what it is. Any ideas why I can't sell to anybody?

You propably trying to sell some kind of big guns. Right?
If yes, then go to for example to VC or try to sell other stuff.
Each trader is buying other stuff, ie iguana guy in NCR buy only Golden Nuggets, bartenders buy almost any garbadge(very low quality guns, resources, miscaleus), the guy in the Hub Oldtown and gunrunners buy high tech guns, in necropolis all kind of energy weapon, Jargo in New Atydum all kind of armors, and so on.

You just need to figure out who is buing what.

Check what merchants specialize in.

No they don't actually sell those items at all times its what they might buy.

Each merchant takes in only certain quality items you just have to check and get a feel for most merchs.

That list is not good, almost all group of items are divaded on smaller groups so few merchants are buy pancor but not combat shotgun etc

Not really, the list is useful, but only as a passing reference. Eventually it'll need to be re-AMP'ed to show all items that can be sold... Well if PVP trolls let players check.

That list is about 60% correct when it comes to what the merchants are BUYING.

Most merchants buy only certain things; anything else, they tell you yo puss up a rope. Combat shotguns? You might get something for them in new reno, but a fair I've only seen them for sale in junktown, so he's the only one buying those.

Sell 5mm ammo much more economical and you shoot it probs anyway
C. Shotties sell at half of the merchants in the GAME.
