Train Robbery.

Basically Trains are like Caravans, but you pay to participate.

The robbers range from leather armor to Brotherhood Paladins.

20%-10% EXP bonus for surviving a round trip across the wasteland.

Let's be honest now, we want to shoot things, and the trains aren't useful as transport due to not being available from the start, and cars everywhere.

I've played for two seasons and never once used them.

+1 if you gonna make it like caravan, but it's starting when you agree to defend it. So you and your team can choose if it's gonna be RT or TB.

Personally, I'd like it if all caravans would be TB and RT, with half the caravans being one and the other half being the other.
If two caravan gaurds spawned for each it'd work out for everyone.

No one sends just one Caravan Right :3?

Yeah, train robbery is a very nice feature. Just make sure that train is loaded with mounted M2 Brownings, Rocket Launchers and Miniguns with NPCs operating them.

Yeah, battery of 2-4. Fire 2-4 rockets each round if in TB.

Yeah and bring turrets to good use...they are canon in Fallout. (I even have perks to support such gameplay).

Sounds good. Needs vehicles though. Really poor condition vehicles, but still. How else are they gonna run down a train or haul out their booty?

Wilders = Brahmin
Raiders = The wee buggy
Mercs = Hummers
BOS = Vertibirds

Load or surround the vehicles with traps, if you fail it explodes.

Load or surround the vehicles with traps, if you fail it explodes.
The BOS use hummers, and honestly I don't think you should be able to loot them cause you won't be able to leave the train. It'd be interesting though if you could leave the train after finding a nice car. Enclave could use Corvegas or simply drop troops by verti, then after drop off the bird leaves.

I'm not developing Train robberies so I wouldn't be the one to decide what it looks like xD!
Barricades make the most sense, but it doesn't have to be static.
Like some encounters could have a still "moving" train with vehicles showing up on the map appearing to "move" drop off enemies then disappearing.

More variety is always better, but if this were implemented I would imagine most of the encounters would be of some kind of barricade possibly rows of broken cars on the tracks, of which the train might be shown in a crash. After which a caravan esque encounter would begin.

Turrents probably won't make a scene because I doubt Kilgore would implement that change for just this idea, unlike Fallout Tactics reloaded doesn't have moving vehicles.
