As additional caravan for pvp players it would be good but also I will change overhaul caravan runs. I will split it both PvE (+ newbie) and PvP. I will add more random stuff to make caravan runs less boring and much more unique. Random should be things like: guards stats, ammount of guards, weapons, more random encounters with enemies, it should depends on cities tracks.
I was thinking about sth like that might work very well, of course any numbers were picked randomly but it can be changed as well.
In short expand caravans to 2 levels (previously I was thinking about 3 or even more but 2 should be enough at the moment).
I. PvE caravansVariant A - same as we already have in-game, cab be soloable, can be made with players. Add some random.
Variant B - high tech weaponry, much more harder, require at least 2 or 3 players, level requiremenets, example 50. Add random samilar to that from PvP caravans.
II. PvP caravansActually I am thinking about PvP caravans as only for PvP groups which means to take a caravan course you need players because there wont be any NPC guards helping you (except Caravan Master). You can take solo caravan run but there will be only 2 guards - you and Caravan Master. Even going deeper: you can be caravan master, you get a destination map which show you over the worldmap dots/caravan spots which you have to follow. That means all guards are players, no npcs.
However for some reason if there should be npcs, make them a little harder than these which we already have in-game.
Variant A - regular weaponry:1) Caravan Master:
- Base HP: from 350 to 450 (random, +25 HP)
- Toughness: a little stronger than "PvE caravan master"
- Weapons: Plasma Rifle
2) Guards:
- Base HP: from 150 to 250 (random, +25 HP)
- Toughness: a little stronger than "PvE caravan guards"
- Numbers: from 3 to 8 (random, for a single player), if there is more players than guards removed same as in PvE
- Weapons:
223 Pistol, P90, Plasma Pistol (+ exp),
Pancor, H&K Caws, XL, Sniper Rifle,
Laser Rifle, Laster Rifle (+ exp),
Bazooka, Minigun, LSW
Variant B - high tech weaponry, much more harder:1) Caravan Master:
- Base HP: from 450 to 550 (random, +25 HP)
- Toughness: strong
- Weapons:
Plasma Rifle random bonuses (improved, advanced, superior, unique),
Gauss Rifle,
Pulse Rifle,
Vindicator,
Bozar
2) Guards:
- Base HP: from 200 to 300 (random, +25 HP)
- Toughness: stronger than variant A
- Numbers: from 2 to 5 (random, for a single player), if there is more players than guards removed same as in PvE
- Weapons:
XL, Sniper Rifle - random bonuses (improved, advanced, superior, unique),
Laster Rifle (+ exp) - random bonuses as above,
Avenger Minigun, LSW - random bonuses as above,
Gauss Pistol, Pulse Pistol,
Gauss Rifle
