If this is not banned from game, Ill make sure my whole gang make slave builds, so we will finally destroy pvp in this server.
If you cant make the code to make slaves useless in combat, just ban these factions from TC, or ban their slave characters until the update.
And really... I dont know what devs are waiting for to fix this slave shit.

Disable slaves in pvp, what else to say ? Yes i agree in order to be on par with those dudes we will have to make slave builds too, which will only ruin pvp further. FIX FAST.

Wait? Its been 1-2 month since the slave exploits appeared. And I havent read anything saying they are working to fix it.

I wonder how many factions still abuse this on TC? You could just report, and good people without PvE TC will get towns.
So first big topics started at least 2 months ago...
Complete removal of any combat slaves from PvP and companions nerf is really needed as it was already said many times by many people in many topics.

Well I have no time to include it in tonight's update (except disabling militia which is easy fix), but if gangs still keep using whole groups of NPCs in PvP then surely there will be nerfs.

is still true. There is no word anywhere about something being actually done to deal with this problem. All this is just "if people don't stop using it without us doing something we will think about doing something".

- either reduce companion dmg (atleast 25%) or make them not able to use knockdown weapons, maybe increase their hp as tradeoff

My team often benefited by using NPCs. But I hate all slaves, companies and mercenaries. Must remove all!
Motion sensor and special items in reno and warehouse should be removed as well. I mean special items: pulse rifle, bozar, gauss, pas, etc. Combat Armors and normal weapons with bonus is good.

You know what I don't get? Why IS there a limit to the number of slaves you can have? If I want 1,000,000 slaves, and I have the MOENY for a million slaves, why can't I HAVE a million slaves? Ok, a limit to the number I can actually CONTROL at a time (say 2), and the rest I have to leave her or there (like in f1/f2, where you have to pick and choose which followers you have at any given time). Same for cows... You can "have" (own) as many as you want, but you can only USE as many as your party points allows.

No they were not. There were similar problems with NPC in PvP back on 2238. Real problem is that slaves were not nerfed to the ground to begin with and role and impact of companions in PvP significantly decreased based on what we had on previous server.

Just find a group which wants pvp only and fight against them where is the problem?

adams i am sorry if you dont see the unballanced shit that companions are, why dont you just imagine town control or reno 5 vs 5 with 25 slaves / mercs on each side, do you think this game would be fun because right now its heading in that direction
Right now there is no stronger build than a build with mercs and i mean it. Its practically impossible to frontline attack one guy with 2/3 mercs and survive when you are alone, you will die before even shooting, even in power armor. But maybe if they do more stupid nerfs like pancor (useless in tc right now) nerf then we will see some stuff happening.
