i think you have to have 2 players along with you.
i also think you have to register a faction name, but i am not sure.

as kilgore has said many times.
no wipe announcement + no updates = the devs are lazy.
wipe announcement + updates = no wipe
only so much time in a day.
wipe announcement + no updates = where we are now.
we are stuck in a highly playable game as it stands.

the devs have committed to keeping this server open after the wipe.
for how long depends on the traffic and donations.
i guess.
a free game isn't really free.
the server costs is not the only cost.
it takes time to do the stuff WE asked for.
so come blast me if you think i am wrong.

i have an idea.

printout the change logs.
prior to the date of the change, search the suggestion thread.
guess what you will find more often then not.
a player asking for what was changed.
THEN say the devs don't listen to us.

they don't listen to ME because all my suggestions suck.
that's MY fault.
not the devs.

remember  the words of a motivational speaker (snake oil salesman?) from the late 1800's.........

"everyday in every way i am getting better and better".

actually i think the snake oil salesman (motivational speaker?) was in the early 1900's.
let the google fingers fly.

i don't see this as cheating.
you still have to get close to see the hummer.
you cant just walk into cave and scan from the entrance.
you have to run through the cave.
you still have to fight anything fight-able.
it just take some of the drudgery away and saves time.

maybe if you treat your slave well, he gains these commands to drop everything.
or to come to me when we are in the same area but cant see each other.

a blow up doll.
maybe a ball mask.
a dinner from moms every now and again.
a picture of Elvis.
a water jug.
these are things that could make a slave happy.
feeding the unused guns magazines to slaves to increase there use as fighters.
but these are things for after the wipe.
and kilgore hates carry weight issues.

i have acquired the leadership to a dead faction, the brahmin eaters.
there are about 18 outposts and one bunker.
some of these locations have a lot of stuff.
i have invited TTM members to join this faction so you can see the locations on the map.
go get the stuff.
if you clear out a base let me know the location so that i can remove these from being seen on the map.
if your not interested, let me know so i can remove you from the invite list.

if you are a TTM member and dont see these bases but want to, give me your players name and once i verify you are a TTM member, i will add you to the list.

so go forth and raid the dead

check out the neil young song "cortez the killer".

recently steven hawkings was asked about the SETI program.
he didn't think we should be actively looking for aliens.
chances are they would be more technically advanced then us.
the Europeans were more more technically advanced than the locals in the "new world".
it didn't turn out well for them either.
