How armor detoriation works?

I noticed when my armor is below 50 % i receive more dmg. Is that true?

Get 100% and 1% armor and check in inventory screen. Stats are the same but partial baypass will punish you a lot in such armor :)
That's why it's good to have armor with 60%+ condition for PvP, it should not deteriorate below 50% during fight(s), unless you die of course.

It's not a normal armor baypass. When you are shooting somebody with armor with condition lower than 50% than you got a chance to partially baypass his armor as in formula:
Quote
(50-condition)*2%. (e.g. 0% bypass chance at 50% condition, 50% chance at 25% condition, 100% chance at 0% condition)
If your armor's condition is < 50% than for each bullet there is a roll to make a partial baypass.
Partial baypass means that you only get 25% (rounded down) protection from armor (both DR and DT).

For example get character with Even Tougher wearing Combat Armor:
- normal shot:
+3 DT, +10 DR from Even Tougher
+5 DT, +40 DR from Combat Armor
so we got 8 DT, 50 DR normal damage resistance,
- partial baypass:
+3 DT, +10 DR from Even Tougher
+1 DT (5/4=1), +10 (40/4=10) DR from baypassed Combat Armor
that gives us 4 DT, 20 DR normal damage resistance.

Conclusion: if you got crappy armor (< 50% condition) you get more damage :)

So that partial bypass is not shown in log so my conclusion was right.

THx for all info
