Changelog 30/10/2013

Balance changes:
- Decreased range of Pancor Jackhammer from 30 to 25,
- Increased burst of LSW from 3 to 5 rounds, decreased base cost of single shot and burst by 1,
- Decreased base cost of Bozar single shot and burst by 1,
- Changed shotgun Flechette shells: DR Mod from -50 to -45, AC Mod from -25 to -40,
- Changed shotgun Slug shells: DR Mod from -35 to -25,

Features and bugfixes:
- Added an option to see statistics of companion - his current level, experience, SPECIAL and best skill - via dialogue,
- Added an option to equip companion with Enclave Combat Helmet,
- Fixed a bug where a lock would not disappear after using on car,
- Faction armors (Enclave CA, Brotherhood Armor etc.) should no longer cause kill on sight in certain locations.

Same as before, 3. I didn't change it because damage is high there. Got zero feedback from players about Bozar after recent update.

Lsw is now what i always wanted before...any chance of shotgun shells getting stuff like dragonsbreath or explosive? Helmet mods are useless so far for that

You should fix Slave Mining ;).  If you have more than one mining they get stuck by each other and dont do anything.

I was in the middle of a firefight with some raiders when the server restarted. Is it gonna throw me where I left off when it starts up again and have the fight going on as I'm offline? I don't want to get back on later and be dead. :/

E: It did. I'm okay, but that's kinda dangerous you guys think?

You should be on the world map when the server goes back on, I don't think that random encounters are saved by the server, especially since the server has been offline for more than 3 minutes, if that even matters.

Problems with shotguns ->

1) Pancor Jackhammer
2) Penetrate perk
3) I think dr for both new ammo should reduced -15 and -10, maybe even more?

And you can always do new suggestion.

So could you add this option for mercs too, please?
And for slaves? : D

Not sure about the pancor, but LSW seems quite good to me now, very useful for no brd tanks though for bg snipers it could have better damage than a sniper rifle.

Incendiary shells - yeah, probably.
Explosive shells - erm, maybe some other weapon for that?

In next update, all buildings will be removed from the game.

Btw some player stole characters of another player and removed them (various levels, from 24 to 51).
Next time I see something like that, the thief will be punished by permanent ban on his characters and forum account.
Characters were restored from recent server backup, btw.

Don't do such shit and you'll be fine.

So you nerfed pancor but you didn't nerfed vindicator? Small gunners have enough problems with miniguns, i think that pancor range should be back to 30 again.

Hex shooting is the obvious answer to this latest fashion, camping in building with pancor aint a good idea when ennemies can blow up the building safely from outside.

Sooner or later Desert CA (and new encounter type) will be added. Animations are already included in game client.

Fixboy is still waiting for someone who'll make it.

10mins ago in BH you had two pancor jackhammers and bbs had one, your team loses.. how is that even possible?

you do realize all the big guns use rifle caliber ammo so sg logically can do the same amount of damage and out of all the guns really the shotgun would do the most with a slug its got the most power behind it and bullet weight
anyways i guess if you are gonna argue for somthing being logical you should kind of maybe use a gun in real life for once maybe perhaps??

Minigun isnt insta kill, but pancor almost is. 1 burst with it and snipers are dead. Avenger needs 2 burst vs sniper.  You did great job for lsw, but for pancor i will never agree that it makes higher dmg than 3x brd avenger. It should does less dmg, cuz with brof and -1 ap, you are able to burst 3 times, and you can make max hp tank pancor burster, no one will be able to survive against it. And from now on no more fights in Reno, cuz i dont want to fight army of pancors.

ur the one that mentioned logic in ur first post and snipers have generally 160ish health how is that sposed to survive anything? look just ask kilgore to take away spread on miniguns and you will be more op then the pancors and all will be fine

Why? As far i see, this is balanced. It's called jackhammer for a reason, as opposed to a dildo out of battery. For once you will see more than just people running around with 290hp avenger apes because they are no longer invincible. Honestly, i just love where this appears to be going, some weapons may actually be more useful, instead of just one specific gun being used by everyone. M60 is too heavy to run with, lsw is a sniper/battle rifle bg, shotguns have tactical ammo, all the weak weapons can have upgraded stats...this is one fonline i dont plan to ragequit

Oh damn 25 range? It's much to small for my likeness. Didn't have chance to use that oh noez whinned OP weap, but from short test it was good alternative for XL, now its on P90 type thinking because of that small range.

Pancor is fine and really useful weapon since last update but this is getting ridiculous...

But Jacky for pancor build u also need skill, u have to click many times per second, so its not so easy. See how BBS with their pro skills took all the towns? ;)

But BBS are campers so pancor is great weapon for them, doesnt matter that its not balanced at all.

Great upgrade for LSW.
Regarding Ivic... Seriously, when they nerf Pancor even more, e.g. 15 hex range, you will still cry about it, because you cannot enter any building.

FO2 is Skycast personal project. You can ask him but you can not demant from him to share his hard work because you want it.

Hmm I'll be unable to make an update tonight, so I'll make it tomorrow.
Quick info about what you can expect:

- Stat check added to mercs and slaves,
- Coloured flares added to various footlockers etc.,
- shotgun Slug/Flechette ammo adjusted by -5% of DR bypass each,
- Slug/Flechette shotgun ammo added to Hinkley,
- Shotgun EMP ammo added to crafting table/traders,
- Combat Armor Mark I and II added to Hinkley,
- Bonus HtH attacks decrease grenade throw cost by -1 (doesn't stack with BROF),
- Grenade Pistols and Launcher (+ammo) prototypes added to Hinkley,
- Decreased Plasma DR/DT on helmets,
- .44 JHP / FMJ ammo boosted,
- Plasma and Pulse Pistols with increased range,
- Alien Blaster and Solar Scorcher with increased range and change damage,
- Dialogue fixes,

maybe also something else.

Mercs does have lvl up, but what about slaves?
Do their stat check has experience and lvl check?

Requirements -> Unarmed or Melee Weapons 180% (Now close combat, wiki needs update)

Every NPC does level up, even Caravan drivers... ;]

Btw I'm well aware about critical table and headshots/eyeshots not being efficient. This will be changed but I don't know when yet.

They need to be tested, before add of use for everyone ingame.
