Lack of companions - bug?

I am very disappointed to claim that something is bugged/changed in wrong way. In the past it was much easier to find companions in bars. Now they don't spawn so often... Is it going to be changed?

It could be bug or not. There is player called "BITCH of [NCR, HUB, DEN]" who keep using alts and take all companions he see near bars.

But also I think this is bug. Because just after that SPECIAL check for companions came, I started see them less on the towns.

I found two companions today.

Many people make alts, then logout in every city near companion spawn and they login every now an then just to grab newly spawned companions. That's why you don't see companions anymore.

Possible solution: Make it impossible to logoff inside cities (your character stays there logged on).
I hate when people make hundreds alts just to quick check companions and shops...

This should solve the problem at least partially.

Btw there is no bug, they are just being camped.
