Title: AutoClicking Tutorial, "Survival of the well equip"
Post by: Rancor on January 03, 2014, 09:38:37 am
http://www.spacetornado.com/DoItAgain/  You can start by Downloading the Tool.

Once you enter the software, you will need to make a new task.

http://i41.tinypic.com/2w5spdj.jpg

to make a task, you will need to set a end task hotkey, which is usually Scrolllock, but you can change it in the options bar. Ok so you know how to start a task, and how to end it so you have a spliced task.

You will need to select the task in the task bar, then go in Options bar, press Repeat task settings for "Variousname", Set How many times do you want this task to run? set it to whatever.

http://i41.tinypic.com/x5po8x.jpg

Once you've done this you can go to the directory of Do It Again "C:\Program Files\Do It Again"
And your task should be there in text format, you need to enter the file and you'll see :
99999 0
Pause 18 [2]
MouseLDown 691 646 [3]
MouseLUp 691 646 [4]
Pause 15 [5]
MouseLDown 1109 514 [6]
MouseLUp 1109 514 [7]
Pause 47 [8]
MouseLDown 1095 637 [9]
MouseLUp 1095 637 [10]

To configure the speed change the number of the red outlined numbers,

You can mainly edit the speed of your macro in this configuration file and the coords, but you don't need to edit the coords so :\

I don't mind people using autoclickers, but sharing information about how to use one is quite bad thing to do.

Why is it "quite bad thing to do"?
The game is a clicking frenzy during crafting and mining, no reason people shouldn't be helping others get around that.

Good on you Rancor. I used GhostMouse back in the days of MySpace Mobsters, but I'll give your guide a run through tomorrow and post a review.

The day when I completely agree with Mr. Strike has come. *pops a cherry*  :)

Though Mr. Rancor saved me a googling. I think macroing is what a literate mine-owner should do in the current iteration of FOnline.

I don't mind people using autoclickers, but sharing information about how to use one is quite bad thing to do.

According to the Canadian Centre of Occupational health and Safety, Excessive use of the keyboard and mouse are one of the 14 causes of Carpal tunnel
Syndrome, and we don't all have nerves of steel like you, so it is a "Good thing" it's morally settling, and it saves me the time that it would take to explain to a newby individually.

Fix boy is unusable without macros, I don't know how anyone can craft manually.

This guide should have been published long time ago so even noobs like me could craft on some competitive level. It is worth mentioning that there are plenty of tools like this one, personally I don't like DoItAgain (no start recording hotkey) so for simple tasks like unloading a brahmin I can recommend TinyTask (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Video-Recording/TinyTask.shtml), very easy to use.

EDIT: As Seki says, autohotkey is also very good, though you can't record your actions, you have to write everything manually.

btw im using autohotkey scripts as autoclick/bots
http://www.autohotkey.com/ (http://www.autohotkey.com/)
but its a bit harder to use..

Note: At least two of the above tools only work with FOnlineGL and not the regular exe.

Holy shit, thanks for the guide Rancor, I can't believe I crafted manually this whole time.

It only took me almost a month to actually get around to trying it, but I'll never look back.

For anyone that hates killing slaves to get their ore, or just for general crafting, this is an absolute life saver.
EDIT: And it should be stickied, with the other, less valuable guides.  ;)

I don't care about bots in bases and private mines, but public mines and stuff is not ok...

I only use it for bulk crafting.

And mining bots are nice. We killed 2 earlier in Junktown mine. I scored 1500 iron ore and 1500 minerals.

On linux you have to just emulate dektop in Wine. But i don't know how do it on windows. General solution: Run FOnline on other machine/virtual machine.

What is the problem with my task?

I make a list of actions, all setings like in turtorial, and when i try to turn it on i have a mesage:

"there was a problem runing the task 'abc'. The error message was:
Value cant be zero
Name of parameter: value

Try deleting the task, recreating it and running it again. Check for proper premissions also.

EDIT. Sory for bother. I found i solution. The program must be runed from administrator account/ or as an administrator.

I was temporarily banned for using an autoclicker, not for crafting specifically, but for other things. I assume the GMs don't want me to say what. Be careful.

Well it would be nice to know what can warrant the banhammer if it's something not previously covered.

It probably is something obvious, but I would think a bannable offense they would LIKE us to know is not kosher.

Then again I don't care because I only use AHK for key remapping and autoclicker duties while I'm actively playing. This game has killed three mice over the years...

I think that the reason they would not make a post about it, is because most people use this same feature all the time, but just not to the extent that I used it. It's something that will be nerfed after the wipe. I guess if I told you what it was or they told you what it was, they would have to nerf it now, and I assume they don't want to do that.

Auto clickers are a type of software or macro that can be used to automate clicking. They can be triggered to generate input that was recorded earlier or generated from various current settings.

Auto clickers can be as simple as a program that simulates mouse clicking. This type of auto-clicker is fairly generic and will often work alongside any other computer program running at the time and acting as though a physical mouse button is pressed.

More complex auto clickers can similarly be as general, but often are custom-made for use with one particular program and involve memory reading. Such auto clickers may allow the user to automate most or all mouse functions, as well as simulate a full set of keyboard inputs. Custom-made auto clickers may have a narrower scope than a generic auto clicker.

Auto clickers or also called Automation software programs may also have features enabling response conditional reactions, as well as keyboard input.

Controversial usage
Auto clickers are one of the problems online advertising companies such as Google face because of their pay per click advertising system. Competitors of different companies can use this to raise the advertising budgets of their rivals by clicking on their advertisement link many times. This is known as click fraud.

Another controversial use of auto clickers is for cheating in games. High-speed clicking may be required in some games to complete certain objectives or quests. Some games attempt to patch their games against known auto clickers, preventing the games from running when auto clickers are detected, but auto clickers can similarly be patched against the game patch.

Known Auto Clickers
AutoClickLil - Smart autoclicker (Official website), containing malware "HEUR/QVM03.0.Malware.Gen"
GS Auto Clicker (Softpedia)
Free Auto Clicker (Official website), referenced as a malicious website on virus total

I dont see the point in bots. It s cheating. Life shouldnt be easy idling in the wastelands and sitting on tons of stuff. No easy leveling via crafting and mining with auto-clicker.
I vote for no XP for crafting
and give us back :  craft "10 Metal Parts"

I advise to follow game rules and not use autoclicker in private mines, it can be detected easily. Private mine will be removed and player banned.

Autoclicker was tolerated for crafting only, but this is now useless with the Great Brand New Fixboy.

And if you have suggestions, post it in the board: http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?board=8.0
