Armor class bug in TB
« on: May 01, 2015, 02:44:09 pm »
I hope that's not a copy-thread: I used the search function and found nothing about it.

I noticed that when you have high armor class (tested with 100+) enemy NPCs in turn based combat start to escape and avoid fight; often they stop and start cycle all their "escape taunts" until the turn end, making the player losing a lot of time.

It will be fixed after this wipe?

It's like the enemies see you as "too strong" and this may be correct.
What is not correct is the fact that they start spam and freeze the fight.

I have same thing today with bandtis, few of them freeze. They even not say anyting, just freeze and wait till their combat time in their turn will end...little bit annoying, but I don't know what is the problem that make such a situation  :(

Did you check if you had Armor Class or not?

In my experience I tried many times and discovered this:

- If I get the AC bonus at the end of turn, and I have it around 100+ there is a large chance that enemies start to escape. After a turn or two, they freeze and start to cycle all the "taunts" they have, very fast, until their turn timer expire. This seems to affect ONLY humanoid enemies, not animals, mutated beasts or else.

- If I negate the AC bonus or I have an AC under 100, this bug doesn't happen.
