Suggestions / Maps for Special Encounters/Dungeons

This idea is you find map with location on it like tents. These special maps are found in lockers/caves/etc (not easy come by). When you use a map it give a location on the world map. The map is consume and you go to that location. When you enter the location you lose the location on your map. In there will be special events base on the map you use.
It could be Bandits base, enclave base, brother hood of steal base, or all sorts special events and challenges. You could enter one be bandit base  and you go in kill all bandits maybe bandit boss. There inside is a locker full stuff and maybe motorcycle.  These events can have good items/vehicles/rewards. Reward would vary on what type map it was.   Idea is its high rise and high reward. You die and you cant go back there.  There will be different difficulties of maps that require more or less people.  It would be private event so you would not have worry about other players running in.   Maybe see one where you defend outpost against waves of enemies (maybe horde of ghouls O.o).  I know there working on some kind of dungeon system (i think those are going to be public).  With this you could have private ones so everyone could get in on some action.

Maps would be highly traded and a gamble to use.
Super rare map with location of enclave base, use myself or trade for caps.
maybe special vehicle inside ( feel more earn that way)

any comments? or suggestion for events you could have on maps?

Closed suggestions / new locks

It be nice if you could craft locks that would only let you open a container base on faction membership level.
Lock would be some kind like finger print lock. Faction leader would be able to set access level on them.
I make were you could not picklock them but only be use in faction bases.

With this you could have containers that require higher level of trust to get to.
Making stealing from factions harder.
But also allow more open invites to faction base because decrease in stealing from them.
With that there be more people open to have more public faction base then just private one.

When you have party of people they should enter the map in formation like how NCR spawns.
It also be nice if leader could pick were people stand in the formation.
Or even have gride they can mess with make custom formation.
This way when you enter an area your not all pile in one spot

My suggestion just to change some names of skills/perks to have more of logic/better feel to them.

1. Speak rename to Leadership
2. Fast shot rename to Trigger happy
3. Bonus Rate of fire to Fast shot
4. Sneak to Stealth

Game Help / Outdoorsmen and encounters

I have guy am leveling up and I was wondering something.
If I raise his outdoorsmen up will it take me longer to find an encounter.
Thus slowing down my exp gain because takes forever to get an encounter.

Closed suggestions / Friendly Fire perk

My suggestion is to add new perk called friendly fire. It could be regular or support.  You and your merc/slaves/champions would do 40-75% less damage to friends with indirect shots that do damage(like burst,rockets,flamer,grenades).
Friends would count as yourself, your followers, faction members, people you friend and friend you back.
I would have higher Percent reduce  for when you hit your followers or your follower hits you/another follower.

It be nice if players could set up npc venders in the barter area. You pay so much for one. Then you can give him items and set price on each item.  The vender only take caps.
You could also make them vending machines instead of merchants. Vending machine with bp, weapons, ammo, another good stuff :D

Closed bugs / metal armor mk2

I went to craft a metal armor mk2 and with metal armor that has +1 ap and other stuff. When it came out it was normal nothing special on it.
When i make saw off shot gun or scope rifle it keeps the buffs on them.  But metal armor mk2 is like your making new armor but use the old armor.
I think if any buffs on it then should keep them. If has none then I don't mind it re-rolling them again.

I think way people gain caps could be rework to be better.
Right now best way beside from trading with players is to camp the traders.
With no cool time on crafting/mining, You can make stuff to trade and get tons of caps easy.
You can also put money in the bank gain good interest.

1. I would make most humanoid npc carry caps and the amount depends on how hard they are to kill (this also could give stealing more value).
2. Set interest rates to 0 (prevent auto gains of money so caps have to be work at(rich get richer)
3. Vender would need rework in some way.
Maybe lower the amount of caps they carry (maybe 500-2000) or remove there caps altogether
Maybe change vender items that he accepts (maybe ones that cant be craft but stuff you find)
Might have venders only take caps have stuff worth buying
You also could have value of items trade go down and up base on how many he has in stock (so if some selling same craft item over and over it wont work forever)
4. Add more caps sinks to the game. The more ways you have spend your money the more
value your caps would be and it help prevent inflammation of caps from overflow.

This would make money more value. Caps would more represent time spent farming.
I think it make better economy.

My first suggestion could be add right now but the rest probably have to be after a wipe.
Because there already a lot caps in the system. So new player disadvantage to
old player who had easy gain from there start.

Any thoughts or comments,
My first suggestion one I really like to see add, I go kill robber he has none or 1-6 caps(should carry like 25-80)

I have couple suggestions

1. remove worthless item properties you can get.
What I mean by this is your helmets can get fire/explode/electro resist and damage threshold.
Is there any one of these damages that can be use in a focus shot to the head.
No, not that I know of. So just remove them because when I craft why even have were I can get these Item properties(buffs).

2. I like to see more Item properties that can be gotten when crafting.
Here just some suggestions.
Negative to strength requirements  like -1 or -2 Str Req for weapons ( could also make weapon weight less)
Improve durability / unbreakable.
For armors , one wiki says it there but i never seen it. Healing rate and increase carry weight.
Also have one make the armor weight less
+AC ( tho I think ac needs rework)

Any comments
If you have any ideas for new item properties post them.

I just have few suggestion about junk.

1. Make junk weight 1 pound or less then it is now

2.  Have junk barrels/junk pile that you can put random items in to over time it breaks to junk

any comments?

I was wonder in town control and pvp general. Do people still aim for arms on big gun guys? Try cripple an arm.
If you have 10 strength will you not get cripple very much in the arms?
Is there some kind formula showing chance of being cripple vs the test stat?
