Wind Drift was the one that gave me the hunger/thirst script btw, he has some talent.

What else have you done with the engine, my friend, and how far did you go with hunger/thirst?

It's one of those features that has been suggested but to my knowledge not implemented anywhere I could experience it, so I decided to do it myself so I could play with it and see for myself. As far as what else I've done, the answer is nothing noteworthy. This was simply relevant to the thread.

I'm very tempted to release a sequel to Fonline: Shelter using the latest and FINALIZED version of the player farm + your hunger/thirst mod. Maybe I can get it tested on a massive scale.

Everything is just academic until it's tested. It would probably fit better in Shelter than anywhere, but it's the only way to get actual feedback, not presupposition. Let me know and I'd be happy to help with that.

Well... The food system can work a little bit like how radiation works. The hungrier you get the higher your hunger % is. But depending on what you eat to get it back down, you can get stat bonuses that effect you the same way drugs do.

Also why not make the reserved skill the "driving skill"
The higher your driving skill the better vehicles you can drive.

For reloaded personally I'd rather it go to waste. Its just annoying, and doesn't fit in with Reloaded IMO.
This isn't the hardcore server and probably shouldn't be. Its main selling point is how streamlined everything is.

Could implement it like this.

If you've eaten or drank recently you get very small bonuses.  +5% to some skills? Or maybe something like temporary increased carry weight?

That means newbies don't suffer penalties for being new, but that eating will serve a small purpose and be significant.

Suddenly finding a cookie, meat, or fruit isn't totally pointless.  And you would certainly see more water use.
