I can only have two slaves, but I have one merc.

I recently hired a merc so I could get an extra slave.  I tried to get a third slave, but when I did it said I am at my maximum party capacity.

Do I have to have the merc with me to enslave more than 2 slaves?

Does anyone know what's going on?

I tried bringing my merc with me but I still couldn't get a third slave.

Is it possible to delete all of my slaves and/or followers?

I found the "~disbandparty away_team" command and now I am able to get the correct number of slaves.
