I took the "Fast Shot" trait, so my rifle attacks cost only 3 AP.
But when I took the Bonus Rate of Attack Perk, it should have been reduced to just 2AP. But it still takes 3AP.
It works fine with some other guns i tried.

IIRC there was a session in 2238 where Fast Shot only worked if there was an aimed shot option on the weapon.
Maybe something like that is at work here.

You can shoot from pistols for 2AP, not 3.

Wait, BRoF has been changed not to affect burst? Or do you have the trait in mind?

I meant the perk, and let me clarify: it SEEMS to not affect bursts. I've been using combat shotguns for a long time, and I'm pretty sure their burst cost 5 APs BEFORE I took BRoF (or BRoA, whatever. At least it looks funny) and it costs that much now. Could someone please verify?
Either way, not being able to make single shots at 2 APs with 2 handed guns (that is to say, the majority of the really effective weapons) is still a huge blow. Not to mention other senselessly slaughtered perks.

It's not nerfing without a cause. No more spammers shooting 7/8 times in one turn, or even more idiot spamming for 1AP when -1ap weaps were in use.

So what's the problem with someone attacking 8+ times a turn? It's a viable survival strategy. An avenger minigun shoots one bullet for 0.15 action points, and I don't see it nerfed.

That's cause you aren't looking - there were heavy nerfs that affected Avenger.

And why not? Gets other things killed while the user survives. Seems like a pretty good strategy. Would you care to elaborate?

Maybe cause 15/16 AP char with 1AP shot was a damn overkill? Somtheing that was heavily broken in TB?
About combat shotgun, you said last session it was less AP, check wiki, it says it was edited last time year ago...so in 2nd season it was 6AP per burst

Overkill in TB maybe, but in RT it's doomed vs. most other builds: strong in one mode, weak in another. I admit that 1 AP/shot is a little too much in any mode though. Still, "If it looks stupid but it works, it ain't stupid."
What I'll never accept is that it's supposed to work like this, no matter who says so. As long as I draw breath, I'll consider BRoA not enabling 2H guns' single shot for 2 AP a bug. And I'll mourn the loss of my precious Living anatomy damage bonus the whole time.

it's not a bug, it's a well deserved nerf : imagine a 25% critical chance sniper 6 shot per turn at 50 tiles. with a potential chance to get 2-3 head-eye shot, it's a well deserved nerf, use 223 or 14 mm pistol ;p

Isn't most pvp combat in RT anyway?
Also maybe minimal AP cost should be 2 for every weapon? I'm pretty sure single fire shooting with 5mm AR is faster, than .44 Magnum Revolver.
I've got similar build based on single fire for RT combat. I was hoping 2 AP for attack will give me a chance against bursters.

bonus rate of attack don't work on mele weapon or unarmed attack, can someone fix this?

Is work, but is imposible to get under 2 ap cost per attack(for cbt knife, power fist etc), if you use aim attack , you will see is work...
