Hello, I used to play FOnline2238 a long time ago, I'd like to inquire the state of the PvP and PvE side of things?

Mainly:

How are bluesuits and suicide bombers?
How are thieves? Can I still be robbed dry when bartering with an NPC?
Can I still be insta-minigunned when roaming the wasteland?
Are there dungeons I can co-op with friends?

- Suicide bombing not effective in towns anymore. Bluesuits are assholes, beggars or newbies as always.

- Can't steal in protected towns without being shot by guards
Can I still be insta-minigunned when roaming the wasteland?
- Yes, most likely by the Khans, which are the most active PK faction at the moment.
Are there dungeons I can co-op with friends?
- Yes, a few.

If I opted for a more casual PvE experience (crafting, trading with other people) would I be able to enjoy the game more than it was possible in 2238?

2238 was much harder IMO; Reloaded is far more forgiving in general.

If you want to avoid "unwanted" encounters - for the most part you can in reloaded, just be smart about things.

There are larger PVE dungeons, like Ares/Glow - but go there PVP ready.

There isn't a better time to join if you just wanted to do some PVE.  The server activity is at an all time low; and many are waiting in anticipation of Wipe which has been listed as "soon" since last fall.   But Wipe could be a year + away; don't count on it - just play!

Why must you spam for people to join your shit faction?

Pretty much all those things were removed from game. Actually, people can still do that if they go to NCR but Hub is now the primary idle/newbie town, which has PvP Disabled.

As for being bursted, yes but just stay away from Hub, Boneyard and San Fran which have the most active players there.

And some dungeons can be cleared such as V15, Warehouse, and couple of quest too can be done co-op.

Are there any low level dungeons? Ares (unknown to me) and the Glow sound pretty high level to me. And are they instanced?

Edit: Also how to properly play in real-time mode? I end up just running from the enemies because aside from the initial attack, I cannot regenerate Action Points and they just gang up on me.

There are no low level dungeons. Some quest can be done low level but everything else would at least require decent HP and you able to shoot shit. As for playing in real time you need to have the proper build...and know what you're doing, you can't just charge at your enemies head on...

But that's the thing. The NPC mobs keep charging at ME, I'm forced to run just so I wouldn't get stunlocked by RNG.

Would still like some tips on how to survive real-time combat while playing solo. I just keep getting ganged upon in the mines and there's not much I can do except tank hits.
