Title: Team PvP Competition

There will be a team PvP event on Saturday, starting at 21.00 server time.
It will take place on a event map:

Spoiler: show

Prizes:
1st place: 5x implant modules or 5 cold beers :)
2nd place: 5x Hardened Power Armor + Helmet or 3 implant modules
3rd place: 5x Vindicator + 250 ammo or 2 implant modules

Each winning team chooses which implant modules they want (however, max. two of one type).
Each participating team will get additional gifts.

Depends on teams numbers there will be more than 1 round but not more then 3

Requirements:
1. At least five characters in every team ready to fight. Teams can not be larger than 5.
2. Every team is required to pay 50.000 entry fee to register - contact me on irc/in game/forum. [Team Captain should give me the list with team nicknames]
3. Registration will be closed four hours before the event starts - at 17.00. Detailed rules will be posted after that.

Stuff will be given by High tech outfitters.

5. Margaux and his buddies: Furior, Chacal, Dendito, -Dendito-

7. Habs and his orphans: Rempart, full dawa, Crazy Bitch, Montana
8. laaki and his cats: Leonardo. , AresMK2 , Pancer , Rage Quitter
9. ivicc and his pistols: terran marine, Blasma Khan, hammerJose, Arsis

Tournament rules:
1. There will be 3 rounds
2. Best team in each round get 3 points and 2nd place 2 points
3. In each round team starting places will be rolled with dice
4. Team with most points after 3 rounds will win the competition

Other rules/info
1. At 21.00, all participants should be present inside Barter Ground. All non-participants will be asked to leave.
2. All troublemakers interrupting the event will be temporarily banned.
3. Teams are required to strictly follow all directions of "BlackRock" character.
4. I'll use dice to choose rooms for teams.
5. Players cannot switch their team between fights (includes switching between #1 and #2 team).
6. Camping the same place/room is not allowed. Warnings will be issued, three warnings = team loses the round.
7. At the end of the event, there will be an additional fight for all teams vs Big Boss and his crew.
8. Prizes will be given AFTER the event ends, I will contact leaders of every team.
9. If everything goes well, all fights will be recorded and available on YouTube.

Event is for fun - no whine allowed !
Whiners will be turned in to eggs !

Results:
1st - KumaX team
2nd - Ivicc team
3rd - Habs team

All participants will get a Gauss Pistol

This will be very tough fight. Pancors, avengers, gatlings, bazookas

Eh that list is just little out of time. RL with normal ma ? pancor with ca mk2? SG sniper in clj? What the hell.

I think better is to spawn hinkley outfiter because this outfiter is just for sg tanks rest have absurdal disadvantage

- Normal CA and normal MA and... CLJ!
- motion sensor comes without sec/mfc
- many chars use more than 1 weapon and those preset outfits are just bad, actualy pomotes 2 certain types of builds
- also not sure about rockets and pancor ammo
- no jet

this supliers are fine! other than this thos who have 300 on all combat skills can use any type of guns its a huge advangate over thos who are not lvl 300 or soo!!! i do suggest dont change outfitters .... more chance to lowbe teams!

Pancor + CA MK II .... every other combination is bullshit .. Why the huge penalty for RL ? Regular MA its basically bluesuit.

This is so big crap. Why cant we choose gear? Pancors will be the strongest, they are tanks, and they can wear ca mk2, looool + there are small rooms which is great for pancors. They should wear metal mk2.

The out fitters you use do only promote certain builds

pancor , avanger , gatling.

BBS will win the event because i dont think pistoleros will be active at that time on a Saturday,
event would be better if moved to Sunday. added -ap weapons.

in some ways it seems good but i cannot take part along side alot of people in community because Saturday.

wish everyone good luck who takes part but if your not in faction like BBS you will lose

I do suggest to only 1 weapon /person.... so they wont carry around Gatling/pancor/avanger/RL/LSW/what else is there?
maybe not to mention when i manage to knock out a weapon from hand... and they just "haha i have 100 other assho..." :P

Quite frankly I think everyone should be happy about the rewards, regardless of what they are. Implants are nice, Vindicators and HPA is nothing to scoff at either.

Also if it's not already being done, I can stream as much as I can of the event in high quality with good framerate and bandwidth.

There are already several teams registered so I guess others don't have such problems.

As you can read in this topic, change in equipment available was made because PLAYERS requested it. All teams will have same stuff so chances will be equal.

Free for all sucks, the team who fight less wins (they dont lose ppl and dont waste SS) and the teams which spam sourrounded by 2 other teams are fucked. That map sucked, the only thing you could do there was camping. I didnt enjoyed the event. (Also, 1-2 hours to start, and lot of time to get the teams ready, just boring)

i do agree on one thing! cempers won... we always was on the offense and gues what we lost... try to go though a door that was capmed by 5guys and oyu can only go one by one :P and the idea about motion sensor sucks... that what alloved campers to camp in the first place! But im fine with it i enjoyed it all the bitz of it! hope Event creator learned some from it!

My thoughts:

1. We chose bad map.
2. Giving Motion Sensors per team was a bad idea.
3. Team FFA sucks.

Next time we'll probably do something on Hinkley on new arenas + Warzone. Much easier to organise, I think.

Event was fun, FFA was not that bad but usual 1 team vs 1 team should happens more often then FFA. The only VERY bad thing was the map, we need great tournament map.

Ho and this PVE was kind of not fun and not needed...

What do you think about making another PvP tournament with rules as in the first one (that on Hinkley)? But with changed maps on Hinkley.

Hinkley helps much in organising such events because many things are automated.

Sure, just need to suggest some.
Like:

Berserker Award: one who scores most kills in a single fight (friendly kills aren't counted ofc),
Survivor Award: for sole survivors of battles,
1Hex Award: one who scores most 1Hex kills,

got other ideas? It's not likely all of them will be available as sometimes it's hard to see and note everything.

Devastator award: for the one who scores the highest crit
Meatshield award: for the one who takes the most damage

Berserk - min 3kills in 1 match
Tank - taking huge damage for his team (team must win match)
Lucky bastard - very high critical hit which contributed to the victory
Last man standing - last guy from one team who fought alone vs many enemies, or after very tough fight (like ivic)
Hero of action - whem someone deserved this award (armor and uruk who killed 4tttla in last event)
Hex hero - most hexs in tournament (min 5-6)

The event was rly cool even if i was unable to participate the first one (saturday night fever), any hope to see an other team pvp event ?
