NameColorizing (For Those Having Issues)
« on: October 24, 2017, 04:21:05 pm »
Figured I'd post this, since I had trouble at first. I also made an organized .txt file if anyone else wants to use it as a template. I also created custom colors to display the NPC factions (thought I'm not sure how that works) based on their available in game armor and colors.

For those having issues do the following:

  • Download the attachment and place it in the FOnline Reloaded folder
  • Open the file
  • Replace (Name) with your character's name in the "Players colorizing section"
  • Then add the colors you want to Name and Contour on the same line
  • Save the document
  • Launch the game and find some NPCs or other players. Your name should change color as soon as they're in view.

You can always type ~names to refresh. If you want to play with different colors to see how they look, open the file while the game is running, change the colors, save it, then refresh (might need to walk out of view and into view of others). Alter to your liking.

If you wish to make your own colors:
  • Jump to the "Colors section" at the end of the file
  • Add a new line
  • Name your color
  • Place the RGB values
  • Save the file
  • Refresh the names and see if it's the color for you

I kept the PublicNameColorizing file as well, I just disabled it by removing the file extension. That's just personal preference.
