Would be best if each town had its own tc time. From 9pm to 3 am. So each hour there will be tc in one particular town. 4 factions fighting at the same time in the same city, could be an intense pvp as it was in modoc some time ago.
American guys, will have a lot of fun fighting each other.

Also truth. Henry acts like there are tons of people who dont tc because of windows but there have been no windows since wipe and NOBODY has shown up at any tc that didn't tc before.

I have a proposal....... at least hear it out BEFORE you say no....

So Faction A takes a town (Modoc). That starts a timer that prevents other factions from taking it in that time frame (24 hours?).

Faction B comes along inside that timeframe;
BB's leader: "Bow down, I am your daddy" stupid line, change it).
Sheffir Joe: "Sorry, but A is our daddy. You'll have to discuss this with them in, uh.... 4 hours (or whatever)."


That'll balance out the windows favoring certain factions WHILE allowing factions to reliably control the town for a timeframe.

I asked about that so many times, but again... Do not post PvP suggestions if you don't do PvP, please.

Maybe there are people who can't play as much as many of you (because work/studies schedules or other reasons) and still can't get ready for a decent TC in 2 weeks, or simply it's not profitable to risk your gear if you know that this town can be instantly retaken few minutes after you take the town. Personally I like the idea of TC windows because it gives much more sense to take a town even if you and your faction don't play a lot. In the other way, for players that can't play a lot, it makes no sense to do TC (except for the fun of a fight). I think there are a lot of american players, and it's not a bad idea to make different timers for some cities, giving the chance of taking a TC restricted city to everyone.

No, i do not act like there are tons of people doing anything in this game. Why? Because there are not tons of people in this game. It is sparsely populated and its always slim pickens when recruiting. That makes it tough to start a team. And if you're picky about membership, even slower.

Also, no i have not done any TC yet in season 2. I enjoyed TC in season 1 and in 2238. I don't have a team (that you know of) yet in season 2. Why? Because it's slim pickens, as above. (Meanwhile, do you have 40 safe houses built all over the map, with 40 maps neatly piled at a private base? I do. We each start differently.)

Back to the topic: TC windows will not fix anything. We need more players. More players = more teams and stronger coverage of multiple time zones. Then we'd have more action. You guys wanting windows...its like you're trying to fight a forest fire and you think putting your thumb over the end of the garden hose will help. Yeah, i'm sure the water sprays farther using your thumb, but bottom line: you cannot put out this fire with a garden hose. And when you get your windows back, and that doesn't fix anything, what next? I'm sure you'll suggest more stupid stuff because you fail to see the real problem - too few players. Keep murdering the new ones though before they get a foothold...surely that has nothing to do with it. lol

Please try to think. Think harder. You just said this. It means you're one of the people here who think somehow a wipe fixes the low population problem. Nobody new shows up for wipe, because the only new guys have been murdered 5 times collecting junk, and quit. The exceptions simply don't have a team yet. But you said this thing...like wiping the server magically fixes stuff.

You have to make sense to convince me. Your logic needs to be solid, not theoretical. Got any numbers? I think you got nothin'.

I never said that wipe magically fixes everything. If you see in the suggestion for having a wipe thread I voted against it. I don't know where you got this idea but please don't spread misinformation about me. And also for a while now I have been saying the same thing as you. More players is better for the game all around pvp and otherwise. More content and good advertising campaign for the next wipe will bring in more players. From what I can tell Kilgore has no interest in doing such things until next wipe though, so until then it would be best to have windows and so concentrate PvP that is sparsely spread through the day into a solid few hours of good PvP. This is a measure until there are more people playing this game and if that happens then maybe it can be removed if there are enough pvpers at all hours to always fight. Until then why add boredom for people who play only for PvP? That would only lead to some of the most dedicated players leaving the server, causing even lower populations. As you said everyone plays differently so while you are happy with 40 tents doing no PvP, many others play for PvP only because they find it to be more exciting. Tc windows do not harm pve players game and do not stop you from making your 40 tents, so why not allow people who like to experience the game differently from you have their fun as well?

So to use your example, it is like fighting a fire and knowing that soon some firetrucks will come put out the fire, but until then to keep fire from spreading too much, you get out the hose and do what you can until they arrive.

What's the point in taking a town with 5-10 ppl if the town will be retaken by a huge swarm in 2 hours which you cannot fight? 2 hours = 24000$ (from 1 town).

Is there a point ?

For the record, i do not at all enjoy building so many houses. I only do it to get ready for TC. Call me Captain Overkill, i don't care. It's how i play. I work my ass off first, and i'm willing to bet i'm one of the best-stocked most prepared TC players in this game, once i finally get there. Solo. No help. I earn it. It's why i vote here too.
