I did another 30 (+-2) cave runs for now. You can check when i created the OP to figure out how long it took me to do another 30 cave runs.
This is what i got:
+1 Access card (dont even know what this is for)
+1 Elegant suit
+1 Radaway
+1 Rags
+1 Plated Boxing Gloves
+1 Turbo Plasma Rifle
+1 Mentats
+1 Police Uniform
+1 CA Mk2
+1 Tesla Helmet
+1 Clothes (gray shirt)
+1 Clothes (children)
+3 Little Jesus
This time i got much luckier, but now consider the following.
The few useful things i found, i can lose in 2 minutes doing pvp. Someone kills me and its gone.
The amount of time it takes to farm anything of significance is way too high if we consider the volatility of pvp.
Putting in 5 hours of farm time (boring farm time! this is the most important aspect to cave farming, its fucking boring) in order to get 3-5 useful items just doesnt cut it.
If it were atleast entertaining farming caves i wouldnt mind this low droprate at all, but running through 5 bigass empty caves in a row is fucking boring as shit.
I think the best suggestion would be to increase the variety of useful weapons/armors (which are not craftable), and then increase the droprate a lot inside of caves. There are a lot of good suggestions here for new weapons etc.
This way, you can find useful stuff all the time, but not necessarily the one you were looking for.
This gives more incentive to players trading with each other instead of farming for themselves only.
Since you find useful weapons/armors much more often, but not necessarily the one you need, you can trade with other people for caps or their own found stuff, encouraging people to trade more and establishing a better cash flow economy.
