Playable Super Mutant
« on: September 20, 2015, 01:54:35 pm »
>Inb4 "it's on fo2 go play there" - No I don't want to play there.

Implent it in kind of achievment unlockable at Mariposa by simply using a FEV container with a little warning. The achievment would add you Super Mutant Skin that cannot be turned down in a barber or any place (so it will avoid abuses), it would add 50 hit points and 5% resists and 1 point of thersold. Of course if you want to turn back to normal you would just do reroll.
Pros:
- Green nice dude instead of mere human
- Roleplay & PvE & PvP activities combined, so he's not weak like "just skin"
Cons:
- Would become TB trap menace and make gap between rt and tb chars even bigger.
- Someone may try to abuse it to get ultimate Human build somehow.

Discuss?

Why roleplay must mean "get assfucked by anyone alse" and "e-beer in Hub"?

Fucked how? You totally missed that you'll be able to wear armors and keep a skin at same time. Both player with and without skin are equal in terms of stats. Maybe people who wants PvP as mutant should pick a role which won't need them to move around map all the time ???

...unless you want to play as mutant scout, then i feel sorry for ya~

Stats as recompense for being slow in RT & unable to use few weapons + being a big target.
tl;dr RT PvP ape will be happy, PvEr player will be happy, and Roleplayer which wants not just to drink e-beer near barrel will be happy too.

Skin is nice enough as is, maybe make the skin give bonuses while nerfing other things like INT.

Almost 90% of players use low INT (1-3), how do you want to nerf it even more? :D

Add Super Mutants, Robots and Ghouls. Leave Deathclaws and dogs out.

Maybe add the "Vic the trader" race...fat ignorant suburban part time wanker part time dbag. That could be fun.

How about adding a high INT modifier to sequence? (A representation of a form of intuitive perception).

Say 6-7 adds 1 point. 8-9 add 2 Points and 10 add 4 points.

I think perception/Agility should factor more so into sequence. INT being for points, and speech checks makes sense to me. It'd be more interesting to see INT being used to increase the quality of equipment.

Too bad that Kilgore is fine with RP affecting Pvp(I.E. Dogs), and people do roleplay in PVP all the time.
