Make C4 unthrowable. Make Stonewall negate Shotgun Knockback.

Simple mechanical changes.

C4:  I understand that C4 in reality is a throwable explosive device.

However, the amount of damage it does, it's basically a 250+ damage grenade + large knock back effect.  I don't need to elaborate for anyone to see the problem here.  Plant c4, wait for enemy, explode c4, add more c4, explode some more, rinse and repeat.

Pancors have large amount of damage + knock back.  At least give people with stonewall able to avoid this effect, in order to counter this issue.

Both of these things combined do nothing but encourage toilet control to it's most extreme.  Whoever takes up the first defensive position wins essentially, or at least takes the town till next TC window opens for it.

As for the shotgun knockback effect, i personally would prefer it left untouched.
I quite enjoy throwing my target a good distance. (Which is useful against 1-hexers)

Like the rocket launcher and frag grenades which all knockdown your opponent, there was some whine suggestions to have stonewall prevent these.
The rocket launcher taking much AP to fire and the frag's low damage make the effect useful but not too 'effective',
so most players don't mind it.

Erm, my point being that nobody really cared about the shotgun's knockback effect, until they become over-used in PvP.

Lower pancor/shotgun's effectiveness -> less often (but still) used in PvP -> players accept it as being viable

Thats how i see it - but its only the matter of how we're going to get there.

I wouldn't mind if stonewall would give a STR-5 roll to negate knockback.

Never used C4, so I have no opinion on that.

stonewall vs c4 is usless. c4 with 300% traps deal 250-320 dmg vs ca mk2 so even if you survive c4 blast you will be dead or laying on -hp

Its good as it is. C4 should be throwable. But, If you don't like it, maybe some other things around should be changed ? To make it fit.

Stonewall vs Knockback effect - okay.
C4 unthrowable - no. You can also throw it against the campers. If they are behind closed doors, you can also explode the doors. You should adapt instead of expecting the game adapt to you.
