On one hand it isn't listed in the game rules, but on the other hand I've heard (only rumors) that people have been banned for it before.

It's a long standing FOnline tradition to bomb idlers in town, so I would think Devs are aware it happens and would probably have made changes to prevent it if it were against the rules.

Odds are it's allowed, but wait for clarification here or use +requesthelp feature in game.

Would be nice to get clarification or a rule change on this, in concrete so we know where that line is.

I wasn't idling. I was doing the crate haul job in the hub and leveled up. Get out of the character to see what appears to be a dude Pickpocketing me. Check my inventory, BOOM. Dead. It's shitty how PCs will pick on newer PCs. Had a dude steal my entire inventory as I was talking to a friend.

Locker Hunting, killing molerats, crafting, doing quests, all constitute "other than idling".

"Idling" isn't even being used as a pejorative here - it's simply what it's called.

It's a shame. I miss that alt bombing the fuck outta people, esp when people idled with PA.

I got idle-bombed when I first started playing and I'd be sad if my bomber got banned for it. I think its an art.
