Jeremiah is upset

So I may have accidently killed Jeremiah in Junktown.  Well he, in his replicated state, definitely remembers and holds a grudge.  I have tried resetting my rep to no avail.  He still remembers, and he still wants vengeance.  Is there any way to clear this, or is he now my eternal enemy?

An ancient remedy of long ago, is to have him kill you.

If a guard or something kills you, it wont count. He must be the one to finish you off.

oh rest assured he has killed me, personally, more than a few times now.  It doesn't seem to quell his anger.  Is there a certain amount that wears off with each death?

I had same problem with Mikey at NCR bazaar, he just wanted to kill me. You need to kill him once again, to stop that.

rekilled him, let him out of the city to make sure just he killed me, fixed the issue.  thanks!
