Game Help / Wacky Wasteland Quest bugged?

Hello,

I was in the middle of the Wacky Wasteland quest (which is hilarious btw  ;D), I got to the part where
Spoiler: show
I'm talking with the creepy priest from the Cathedral and when the game prompted me to select what I would took from his body (I selected take everything) the conversation exited and it didn't tell me where to go next. When I check on the pipboy it says quest state :error

What can I do to continue this quest? I was wishing I could complete it  :'(
