Slave management questions
« on: September 07, 2014, 03:03:09 pm »
I put a slave that I previously bought in NCR in a public guarded mine near Hub. And the slave is always busy. He stands on a constant spot and I can't interact with him. What should I do? How can I take the slave back home?

Is there a worthy manual about slavery? I read the articles on wiki, but it doesn't seem to be enough...

Click alt+left click and tell him to stop all actions or to flee.

You can also tell him to regroup, and he'll come to you then and there, rather than having to catch up to him on the world map.
Not sure why Denise told you to have him flee instead.....

Sorry, guys, some more questions regarding slavery:

1. Can slave's productivity be influenced by a type of the slave?
2. Is it OK to just leave two slaves in a private mine for a week and then just grab loot, or they can flee?
3. How much should one use a slave to be attacked by the slave?
4. How can we increase productivity of slaves?

Thanks!

you mean when he is in a private mine?

1. yeah take the cheapest one, they walk faster then other slaves when overloaded so they mine more..
2. its fine, just take them with you to your tent and kill them there
3. dont understand your question, it takes like at least 1 month till their loyalty drops so low that they start attacking you if you menat this
4. no real tricks there

Oh, yeah, well, I have another problem... Metzenger doesn't want to sell me slaves, so I just enslave different people in wastelands near my mine :)

The slaver tells me that i'm kinda disgusting and that's all. He still lets me to pick a gender and a type, but then...

you first need to become a slaver. to do so pick different dialogue options at metzger. you will get a slaver tatoo on your forehead (permanent) and then you can buy slaves in ncr or den for example

I am a slaver, of course. Oh, maybe I had slaves, but they lost... Nevermind, the task is solved.

yeah, this is frustrating bug: if you log off when you're in a mine with your slaves working, they'll disappear; however, they will reappear as your followers once you go to the worldmap. If you enter the location to check the slaves, you'll see them. But then as soon as you leave the location, you'll "leave them back". If you "leave them back" on a worldmap, you'll never be able to get them back, but  they still will be in your party.

To avoid this, one should speak with his slaves and order them to follow after he notice them following him on the worldmap.

for that issues are commands that are explained in wiki: ~disbandparty or ~disbandparty away_team

just tell yours slave in mine to wait for you -> tell them to mine ressources -> leave the inside of the mine -> then you can logoff
