Sounds good. Which channel? Inb4 threads like:

- please make it channel 0
- please change it from channel 0 to something else

Whichever channel you set it to will probably just become the new channel 0 spam site.

So instead attach it to a series of frequencies, say 1-100 or 1-50, so there's plenty of space to listen without being verbally assaulted.

if the freq changes all the time it would be hard to find it, making it kinda not useful for finding the Caravans.

any channel would be fine as long as its just for Caravans. make it to where players cant send messages on the channel (if that is possible) that way no one trolls the channel. also, making the announcement in a different color would allow for it to be on channel 0

There are 7 caravan companies, why not channels 21-27. Channel 20 could broadcast all companies messages, very spammy but might be useful.

Final suggestion: every 3-5 minutes the caravan's radio channel announces it's next destination, maybe along with coords. When a caravan is restocking, it sends an additional message that it has arrived. Another additional message when it departs.

Maybe too complex and a simple repeat of Caravan Leader dialog might be sufficient. But 7 channels I think is best idea.

Ok for start, let's assume channel 1 for caravan announcements. Messages would be sent on departure and arrivals.
Players wouldn't be able to send messages to that channel to avoid trolling.
