NCR residential
« on: January 19, 2014, 03:07:44 pm »
so i previewed NCR and selected residential thinking it would drop me down by the presidential office. Well it dropped me into a housing area and now i cant get out of the map. When i bring up the pipboy it shows the exit grid to the south but the map will not let me scroll that far south to even see the grid so now im just stuck. any way to get out of here?

Just press F4 or use a better interface.

Stand well clear of the bottom of the screen (about 10 0r so hexes). Hit F4.
Click in the exit grid. Hit F4 again.

And ya, it's a bug. An annoying bug that could and should have been FIXED a long time ago by doubling the exit grid area. It's also a problem in Vault City train station and most wasteland maps.

The problem is the default interface sucks even for these basic tasks. Switch interface or start using F4.
