Outdoorsmen and encounters

I have guy am leveling up and I was wondering something.
If I raise his outdoorsmen up will it take me longer to find an encounter.
Thus slowing down my exp gain because takes forever to get an encounter.

No, it will be same. Just your character will move much faster on worldmap (what give illusion of less encounters).

Outsdoorman don't change amount of encounter just give better roll for if you have msg box about enc and for worldmap speed.

and you will be able to take support perk "pathfinder" which will let you travel faster
