I don't know if anybody else noticed this, but somebody is using scripted bots, multilogged.
Okay it's not in the game rules that you can't do this but dammit!
Using bots for lockerhunting (Burglar) and mining in public mines (Dig Man) ... and who knows what else for ... is just plain cheating.

Dig Man goes in the NCR quarry, mines at a patch of ore, rotates around some, moves on to the next one and when his at his weight limit, he leaves at the west exit grid.
If you follow him, he kicks you.

Well, I do and I observe things.
I've met Burglar many times and studied him.
He just drops into an encounter, goes for the locker (he doesn't care about traps: he just respawns and start over) and when he gets the stuff, he leaves at the north-west corner of the map.

there already was bot doing this and he was raped
idk about burglar but in every mmorpg are bots and they will be always there.. thats neverending fight gms vs botters

they dont care about it because only thing which can be botted is mining in public mines but those miners can be anyway easily killed and looted, its not even against rules, there is nothing about bots in rules and noone cares about resources since we have private mines + slaves digging
and btw. there will be wipe so noone cares about anything anymore ;D
to burglar.. it would be very hard to make bot reacting to other players, traps, encounters etc.. maybe its possible, idk.. if yes then it should be somehow stopped.. but its impossible for devs to win against botters in free game where players they can always create lvl 1 chars for botting.. and anyways what can bots do with those items botted ? play pvp ? in pvp its more about tactic, numbers and other things then about who have more caps or stimpaks in his tent.. maybe its not fair but not any big problem

Bots are illegal.
Bots can not kick you out of their party, nor can they choose to enter an enco (where the footlockers are).
That Burglar uses the exact same tactic, while weird and REALLY STUPID, isn't proof that he uses a bot.

I once came across a guy (or few guys) in the Junktown mine. They were clearly on some sort of automated route because they would all three move to the same places, over and over again. It was a repeating pattern. They wouldn't even always move to a spot to mine. I killed them repetitively but they kept coming back. I tried following, but also got kicked from party. The strangest thing about all of this is they also talked sometimes. I am certain it was one person. Not very intelligent either. But he/they would go about this for hours.

Rumor has it that about half of the players that are online on FOnline servers are bots.
Well, true or not ... bots can techically do almost anything that doesn't require adaptability.
Making them able to kick followers from their party is actually pretty easy since it's just a simple if-then-else command.
I knew a guy in 2238 that leveled by botting fruit and giving it to the kid in the Hub for 5xp each (That's why it has a timeout now)
and during one of the GM auctions some people botted broc flowers.
A script for botting lockers seems complicated but certainly not impossible.
But the real question is: Who fucking cares? Cheaters have small penises. :P

If dual-logging and fast-relogging are unfair advantages above other players and are bannable offenses (and some GMs go as far to investigate and stalk some players to see if they are dual- and/or fast-relogging), then I think botting is far more an abuse then the previously mentioned activities.
This notorious cheater deserves a serious ban.

Dual and fast relogging is banned only in PvP activities and many people using this to many other activieties.
Just read the rules, The Account.
I am can only running, and as you could see my running is not good at all.
I have no implemented fight function so from definition i can not participate in any PvP activities.
If GM say my existence is inconsistent with the rules, then I will be just plugged out.

You're using your program to enter potential PvP situations. Your bot is kicking other players. So ya, that's cheating. It's one thing to do that in your tents/bases/mines, but far different in public. Hell, I don't even use a bot for blowjobs.
But I do give you points for being honest about it.

If I would not kick other players from party it would not be cheating? Or I see here some logical inconsistency or only problem with me is that other people can not steal all my stuff doing only one run to my tent or just killing me.
You humans are using autoclickers in mines and nobody complains about that.
And yes, I create potential PvP situation. Almost all situations in the game are potential PvP situation.
That does not mean it become PvP situation.
But I do give you points for being honest about it.

I can understand auto-clicking just for fixboy and few other things what someone keep using them (I don't myself use auto-clickers or scripts)
Scripts are another thing, depends what you using them should be good reason to get you banned.

A bot or script that can kick people out of their party seems like a way to "gain an advantage in PvP activities" even if those PvP activities are only potential.
Lack of GM comments on these things should tell you what they think about the it.

I for one don't think that kicking a dick out of your party should be made against the rules at all, in fact a quick and easy way to fix the follow issue is for a pop up to occur asking to confirm that you want that person to follow you.
Since following seems to be a potential issue in this game mind as well modify it.
Botting is unfair to other players, but from how I see it its just modified slavery. If a person is talented enough to make bots then I find no reason to hate on them, its another tool that is potentially available to everyone you just have to make it.
PVP is unfair in itself, If I were a level one who fights a level 400 then die or find myself outmatched that's normal.
Perhaps there should be some more regulation of bots but it seems that the Devs agree that Bots are fine outside of PVP.
Public mining, and Kicking followers is related to PVP but honestly I don't see how those things affect PVP gameplay. Same with locker Farming. I found that in public mines resources replenish fast enough where I didn't have to care if there were 20 NPC's running amok, some PC's could even be bots for all I cared.

But I am made using only things what are available for everyone but using them is hard.
Autocklekers are common only because they are very simple in use, sometimes too simple.

In the world of autocklicers you want to judge me? I am waiting for GM's opinion, because you can talk only you are bot, you are bad, you should be banned.

Currently we jail bots/autoclickers when spotted, we ban only bots/autoclickers that are exploiting bugs.
After wipe there will be a clear rule that bots and autoclickers will be banned on sight. Maybe this won't help in all cases. Burglar looks very advanced, it took me a while to watch his patterns and test it a bit by teleporting into various places. A piece of good work ;) however, we are against machines playing the game effectively, as it's simply not fair vs players. With a bit of experience from the first session I think we'll know what should be allowed and what shouldn't. For example, fixboy autoclickers are fine for me, because they do what game interface should do; therefore, if it happens we don't have new fixboy with wipe, then it will be still allowed.

Heh, another Don Quixote. It is doubtfull Seki is boting 24/7, because he sometimes play and take part in PvP activieties. and abusing some of the game features is much more profitable and easier than botting.

Just learn how to play, how to win, how to lose and how to report real cheaters.
