phuck! drugs are bad! I saw a lot of pros and cons here though. Really, have no idea what the best solution is IMO.

If drugs are easy to get a hold of, let's make them not last as long.

Yes drug addiction removal isn't something I am 100% okay with. Fallout always punished the player for doing dope, so I fear that if we remove this addiction/punishment drug use will become mandatory :(

However drugs are slightly hard to come by, and require work to get sooooo I dunno... Players will be chasing that supply of crack like there's no tomorrow.  Might balance itself out, you never know. Imagine if you had to use Jet over 50 times in an hour... :P where you going to get all that Jet?

when making maps try to keep a video game design in mind -> What will this be used for? Quest? Encounter? Base? Is it to be re-used?

Don't put items on maps that players can loot, if the map regens, the items appear again. Items in map = Free stuff for the player = bad. That Hummer shouldn't be there.

So my final comment is -> What will this map be used for?


PS: Always start with pre-made maps it's faster. e_desert1 is perfect, just delete the spawn points and go from there. You map contains all these blank tiles that will most likely end up being desert floors, so you could have saved time by copying e_desert1 and modifying it under a new name.

EDIT: Unfortunately you don't have any exit grids on your map.  The corners need to be more or less square and surrounded by exit grids. You might want to restart, and use e_desert1... Sorry.

So uh wouldn't this break the raiding aspect? Why raid a faction if you couldn't access their gear?

Many locations just exist with the intention to make you think there are a variety of things to do, explore and have fun with. The reality is that almost all of these locations, such as the Theme Park, Talchem lab, S.A.D., etc are all pretty much pointless. The only interesting and viable things that can happen to you in PVE is finding a very rare special encounter, lockers or caves. The Glow is a nice first step, the warehouse is ok, but PVE needs to be enhanced dramatically. Places like the above should spawn items randomly in their respective containers, along with enemies to defend them. There needs to be other viable methods of obtaining items besides city lockers and caves. Perhaps coastal chests which have a different loot table, or desert tiles that spawn mini villages with a merchant that sells harder to find stuff. IDK, anything will do. The boredom was already ramping up as I was playing and it started funneling me into the only end game possible, PVP. And by PVP I mean join one of the three dominating factions, because god help you if you try to make your own. How is that fun?

TLDR: No.

Yeah... Old Session is pretty empty...
