The fuck's going on?

As the leader of The Khans from spring 2001 to 2006, and 2011 to now, I will acknowledge that there have been two periods of dormancy. 

Note that our history calls the current invasion of reloaded as the Third Epoch of The Khans.

Epoch 1
2000-2009

Epoch 2
2011-2012

Epoch 3
2015-current

At no point has our history been claimed as completely engaged and concurrent, we simply note the significance of our lineage - which is unmatched all the way back to the Hub forums on www.interplay.com, and the release of Fallout Tactics.

To this day we are gamers and professionals who for over a decade and a half have spilled the same blood in the same mud under the same flag, together.  Fighting for the great idea that is The Khans, and sharing the great lessons of the wasteland.  Some have come, some have gone, some have fallen; yet we still we stand under the same banner.

Lo there do we see our past, and the rise of our future, and we revel in that significance beyond any game.

We've fought from the ruins of California, to the pits of Twlight Guardian, and the sands of Tatooine.  I've proudly been a Khan for over half of my lifetime, and I proudly call each Khan my brother, in game or out, and we all seek to see their success.

So when you see Bison, Meng, Sven, Crikket and others talk about history, brotherhood, or respect.  You can accept what they mean.

I also find it amusing and ironic, that the people who are waiting-for/threatening that non-existant/dormant factions will "return"; Are the same people who say that it's The Khans that are going to disappear.  LOL...

I'm just calling it like I see it.
I've been gone for about a year, and the Khans seem to be doing their own thing, while everyone else rages. There are far more important things to get worked up about in life than who killed you on an online mod for an 18 year old game with a tiny player base.
You could be homeless, or jobless, or have a terminal illness.
People out there go days without food, or live without medical care and electricity.

But no. The most important thing in some of these players lives is that their character got shot, and they react like they just watched their mother get teabagged by zombie-Hitler.

On both sides people get moody. It's gaming.
I'm just saying, some of the reactions of people on here are waaaay too intense for what is literally, at the end of the day, just a video game.
I just personally think it's pointless to get that worked up over anything game related is all.

I only find it amusing, the same way a pigeon playing chess is amusing. For those unfamiliar, the pigeon has no idea what he's doing, but still shits all over the board and struts around like he's won.

I love it. I don't get worked up over PVP deaths or anything like that, but I like watching the fights.
I don't understand getting that worked up, as I've said, but I still enjoy it.
This community is so different to that of most other online games.
