can a car dissapear fro the world map?

left my truck with crapload of stuff out there in the wild, and when i left the city to go back to my car the location with it was gone, is that a bug os some1 found it and took all what i had?

ok all is fair, the big question now is - does they jey still work, if i have it on me can i still see the car parking when it is somewhere on the world map?
