Kilgore's tutorial about mapper (google translate) or orginal polish version. You can find there very useful tips and tricks and generally information about workflow and almost everything about mapper. But remember to use 2238 mapper, so go download it from here.

when you downloaded the mapper, the client and the server, drop in the client folder Master and critter dat.
Then, go in the mapper folder and precise the directory to the server and the client.
Launch your mapper
Get profit!

I have win 7 and have problem, if i run it (grey screen) and after 1-3 minutes it exit.

I had a similar to problem but on Windows XP because I didn't have a NET Framework. Try install it, maybe this will solve your problem. On Windows 7 I never get "gray screen" and generally mapper works very well.

I got a grey screen and mapper shut down as soon as i move cursor.

Tried to install last version of net frameworks, still not working.
