Welcome to The Iron Fists thread !

We are a group of people who enjoy playing Close Combat characters. We do some tougher PvE fights, muscle training at base, or plan some Close Combat PvP operations.
Why ? Because it's fun ! So if you are interested, apply for membership in The Iron Fists.

• First, read these basic faction rules :
  
  • Only Close Combat characters (it can be hybrid) are invited to join this faction ; level doesn't matter.
  • You are friendly and helpful to new members, and do not kill fellow members. (Accidents do happen).
  • Don't get mad when accidentally killed by fellow member(s) during action. (Accidents do happen !).
  
  Newcomers or experienced players are both welcome !

This was our expedition (Dec 09) to fight the mutants in the Gunrunners quest (no guns!):



And a few days later we went back and defeated them in Real-Time with no casualties:

I been making Buffout like crazy to supply the team. I am, however, sad to say i lost my mining cow in a tragic raider encounter last night. "Meat" should have fled, but he rushed the Raiders like a true combat cow would, and died a cow hero's death in combat. I'm confident he went to that great cow level in the sky.

Gimper, stop in #TIF sometimes to check. I think we're all still here, but just haven't done any group ops ever since we defeated the GR muties in RT on all HtH with no casualties.

On that note...i've been messing around at Ares lately solo. Not yet with HtH, but with EW sniper. I now believe we could handle Ares HtH as a team if we do enough quick knockdowns and do some luring tricks. Maybe sometime soon?

Well we did ares in two meelees so its not hard at all...

Quick tip : Use corners and run away if you pull more mutants then you think you will handle (get atleast 3 PE, this goes for outside part) - inside part is pretty fucking easy since theres corners everywhere - your main goal is to have as much dmg as you can (MPF +max dmg -1 ap) and have high normal dmg treshhold.

You can ignore mutants with lsw and gatlings, they just dont do any dmg, your biggest enemy is mutant with flamer or rocket launcher (but he will get knocked down by his own rockets).

I have a question. I have been seeing this faction take control of Broken Hills and Gecko a lot, but I think they were called The Iron Hand? So that is a different faction with a similar name, right?
