General Questions / Answers
« on: August 23, 2013, 02:05:33 am »
Hi guys.
Figured many new players would have lots of questions what with this particular game coming from a very old background.

Many people may have never played fallout and have questions.
Equally as many people may have played fallout and simply don't understand all the differences between FOnline: Reloaded and the original platforms.
This game has evolved so much and greatly differs from the originals...

Here people may ask their questions and hopefully get some answers if the wiki doesn't fully answer it.
Other players are encouraged to help answer questions to alleviate some stress on the GM team/ Devs.

Look forward to seeing you all in game
-Kain

I'll kick this thing off with a couple questions.

I tried asking in IRC first, and checking the wiki but no one in the IRC knew the answers and the wiki didn't have this specific info.

[20:47] <kaincallavis> Unarmed super muties according to the changelog cost 90 party points; however, what about minigun or launcher muties? Are they still just 90 party points or do they cost more?

[20:50] <kaincallavis> Also... do banks still give interest based on the money you store in them? I saw that they are now connected.

Thanks for the fast reply Kilgore, I appreciate it.

I have another couple questions for you guys if you don't mind.
Something I am pretty sure I know the answer to but it was never really confirmed.

2 perks:
Bonus Ranged Damage: +2 to a weapon's damage range when using small or big guns (applies to BRD2 and More Bonus Ranged Damage)
Living Anatomy: +5 to damage when attacking living organisms, better luck when using First Aid

Living Anatomy; players are living, does the bonus apply to them?
And do these perks apply the damage bonus per attack or per bullet?

Thanks!
-Kain

BRD and MRD apply to bullet so its perfect for burst weapons - more bullet in burst more dmg

Living Anatomy apply to atack not bullet and its final dmg. It means that Your minimum dmg will be equal to Living Anatomy bonus.

Hello,
is AC going to be capped at 140? And also I would like to know if more critical and even more critical perks will be stackable along with bonus hth damage+ (+15% crit for hth). it was a little inconvenient for the fact that i had to tag small guns etc.. to be able to pick those 2 perks for more critical chance, even if i had unarmed character.

Yeah, how about HtH characters?
Will perks will be the same like on 2238, or changes will happen?

If not mentioned otherwise in changelog, Perks are the same as they were on 2238.

Got any ideas what and how to improve for HtH characters? Put it here: http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?board=8.0 and we'll see. HtH boost is planned but only for equipped chars. Any suggestions are welcome.

Got another question for you.

In the character creator that was provided for fallout: reloaded I noticed a few things.
Implants for all SPECIAL attributes, and HP inplants 1 and 2.

How accessible are those things? Are they special things that are rare and hard to find or are they accessible for everyone after a certain level at a high cost?

Also are you limited to only 1 SPECIAL implant or can you get one of each?
Thanks

IMPLANTS
- Implants of various types available. Details about possible augmentations will be published later, few days before the server starts. Expect a big feature.

Sure, and it's more profitable now - slave selling prices are doubled and now you can use them in private mines to get a good amount of resources.
Also I wanted to make a few additional maps for slave runs but it needs to wait some time, as I'm busy with other things.

Real time in towns and other public locations, in tents, in bases.
Turn-based or Real-time in encounters, by the setting of player who enters it as first.

Will FOnline Reloaded implement any newer bases? ex: Abandoned Shelter.
Adapt to the harshness or become one with the dust.
