Drop strength to 7 and use buffout + psycho + nuka to get your 10 str and put the 3 spare points into luck. Use beer too, with 1 PE theres no downside.

Again the extra 1 strength point can go somewhere else since you can take buffout and will want to use psycho anyway. Also consider swapping the last lifegiver for either stonewall or even man of steel.

rest is okay, just take 1 less ST and put it to IN probably, you will get +3 ST from drugs anyways
i had such hth char, it works well with louisville slugger or super sledge, once i managed to even win 1v2 in NR with it but dont expect too much from it.. its still melee in the end

Depending on how you will use this character, you may want to change in your face for stonewall.
If you do some pve keep in your face, if you plan on pvp take stonewall.

this is my melee locker hunter, he is very easy to play and is tough as nails, when you have dmg reduce armor he takes very little damage.
